You can then wait on the side behind the barrier (you have to have a Playbiil as proof of attendance) with others. The stars come out from backstage and sign autographs for people behind the barriers. That's how I met her. It was very impersonal though. She didn't speak to me or anything, but she's still my favorite. Make sure you watch her on "Who Do You Think You Are?" on NBC this February.
