what was that dismount? That shouldn't even belong in elite gymnastics, much less Worlds. Judging by the rest of the routine, she could have done a much much more difficult dismount. I have no idea why she did not- it would have been easy for her

The most overscored gymnast ever- how this received a 9.9 I shudder to think. The overscoring of American gymnasts at this competition was shameless

@raspberrypavlova92 she is not the most overscored gymnast ever that would be milo or bogi hense milo won vault in 1992 and bogi acually won beam in this competiton, that was shameless and the only 2 americans that were acually overscored in this competiton is kim and betty everyone else was underscored or scored fairly

It's too bad about that dismount. Bela always left his gymnasts open to criticism for allowing them to do such simple gymnastics.

I still can't believe the score she got-I would have given it a 9.60 tops with such a dismount-that belonged in 1970's gymnastics not in 1991.

if the routine is based out of a 10 then she can still get up to a 10

I think they bowed to the US and Karolyi influence at these championships. That dismount would not have flown imo had the competition been held elsewhere. Mind you-I love her "Okino" dismount-but she did not do that one here.

yah, i deffinitly agree. but the thing is all the easy skills they did, they did them with *perfect* form. still, this dismount is WAYY to easy.
