If you mean that he's the first to play in a European game then you're wrong, Buffon, Toldo, Cudicini and Abbiati all played their first games in Europe in the early 2000's, Toldo I think was even earlier than that. If you meant the first to play in any European league then again you are wrong as they're were thousands before him. im a goalkeeper , and i remember the time i scored a goal to win us the a friendly cup. the ball was passed back to me badly and only reached the "D" just outside my box and an opposing player was sprinting to close me down and i just ran out and kicked the ball to fuck, i turned round to go back to my goal and everyone started cheering! i was like WTF! just turned round and my team were running at me cheering, I HAD SCORED FROM THAT KICK! best feeling ever!! we won the game 3-2 and the cup.
