  • we had transmiter cell go bad and it locked up our eagel 2 in full power and snap rolled in too the ground. great flight come check mine out.

  • @justfly60482 wow!! thats bad. ill check it out! thanks!

  • SUPER! Furthermore, good flight.

Also have a few interesting videos.

  • @cularismagic ill check out your channel!

    thanks Cularis

  • This kind of things is a spise of this hobby! RC flying would be very boring if nothing 'interesting' ever happens! I love this vid man! =)

I want to see more problems! =))

  • @cjupakk LOL some problems are more painful than others. this one could have been a disaster. after more investigation/research, it was discovered that the turnigy motor at over 3/4too much power for the weak mount of the mentor , and the fact that the motor only has 4 screws but only 2 fit the mentor mount ,causing vibration.lucky i learned. :) it makes a distinctive sound that others have posted as a sign.

    thanks for the comment.

  • @stormranger6: Is this possibe: Too much power?!? ;)

I waiting (little longer again, cause here are some troubles with Island's vulcano :D) a new powerfull motor to my F18, and new batts. So my 240W turns to 560W, and trust/weigh ratio is more than 1:1.. Then I'll do some tricks ;)..

Oh, And I got a new cam too (or two). Some small onboard cam AND Aiptek C100 (720p).. I bet that's better than iPod nano :D

  • Not bad lou for a dead stick landing!

  • That wasnt a dead stick. A dead stick is swhen u have no controll on any stick

  • @p3x197 my bad u were right

  • @p3x197 @p3x197 LOL LOL oh man. you still got a lot of learning/googling to do. how old are you again? i guess my Flight instructor was wrong then. Besides having no control of on any "stick" would not be an attempted landing but a definite crash.

Dead-Stick was meant to refer to the wooden props(sticks) being "dead" meaning total loss of engine power or propulsion. i guess it could get

    confusing.

  • @stormranger6 im 14 neraly 15. I asked this guy on youtube ages ago and he said what i said. then i searched it and i was wrong

  • @p3x197 its always good to research. i learned that term and procedure from my instructor back in the late 80's, on a cessna 172 skyhawk (N7334HD)

    :P

  • @stormranger6 cool, you got a private license then?

  • @p3x197 and an AMT license as well.

  • @stormranger6 AMT?

  • Looking good I like the camera view great video keep up the good work 5 likes..

  • @TinkerManRC thank you sir, well it was a good day. now im trying to find replacement parts. for every hour of RC flying i do about 10 maintenance hours...lol

..i guess the damage and loss was minor considering. i just hope no one has a souvenir on their winshield or worse their neck..

  • Wow really nice save, quick in-flight diagnosis helped you out a lot

  • Wow man, that was interesting. I'm glad you got it to land safely.

  • @firebirdcdr i felt something was wrong after i hear what sounded like a muffled pop. although i was about 450-500 feet up the way the park is nestled betwwen the woods and the highway wall it acted like concert hall and when i heard the pop, i sense a power loss. in the vid you can hear when i spin up the engine a couple of times. as she got closer i notice no prop and i immediately did a quick turn and landed her. i got lucky. thanks pal
