a good friend of mine had this song played at his funeral, it has taken me 19yrs to listen to this song again , since that day, not sure if i want to smile or cry, Rip MARC x
I used to club in Manchester in the late 80's early 90's when this tune was an anthem to all ravers/ clubbers, happy days, the drugs the music the clubs
This was featured on a BBC documentary called 'They Came from Manchester' which i watched recently. The format was similiar to Top of the Pops 2 and this video was one of many. They explained the background of the group and how Gary Davies the Radio 1 DJ at the time bigged them up and championed this track to get them on their way. I still think this song sounds fantastic today. Class.
@ the very beginning, there's a quick hello to FSOL (typical sound from "Papua New Guinea", which may have inspired this track). Anyway, thanks for uploading & for the abundant comment (You did copy / paste that, didn't you ?).
@bissia : Right, my mistake !... But the emulation remains obvious... or is it just one of those typical sounds that were used a lot back in those days ?...
Yup! To be specific, it seems to be the inspiration for the special stage music in the game; a remix more similar to this song titled "8th Space" was also released on the "Sonic the Hedgehog - Remix" album.
can any one tell me what tune mixes in to this right at the start? i recognise it, but haven`t a clue. (its a bit like playin...name that tune with maggi moon!!)
