This was taken during a bike ride at Matthew Winters in Colorado. It is not fake. Search for Tarantula Hawk here. I first thought that the tarantula was pulling the Wasp but realized it was the other way around. It took me a bit of reasearch to learn the truth. Mother nature is amazing!

The reason you don't see tarantula's win, is because tarantula hawks are evolved to kill a tarantula when they see one come time to lay her eggs. They're so good at it, an escape is rare, especially since tarantulas can't run far, and if it hid in a burrow, the wasp would go in after it. They're beautiful killers.
