Everyone forgets Axl is 49 now. Yeah slash is playing even better than ever now, Singers voices weaken as they get older, Guitar players just get better and better to be honest. @Varvitsk1 Axl never sounded as good as he did in the studio live. He actually sounds better live nowadays because he spends every night before a show exercising his vocals so he can sing decently. One of the reasons why he's late for so many shows.

Musically as a band this shit is all over the place and is pretty bad. I saw GNR at the F in Garden NYC in 91 in HS, so this is coming from a longtime fan.
Its like Zeppelin, you lose a member, its over. You lose 4, pack it up Axl. Last I heard GNR could barely sell out Hammestein nyc which holds 4,000.

Go watch Indiana 91 where they played this song for the first time ever, Slash completely improvised the 2nd solo and nailed it perfectly. France 92/Tokyo 92 (best November Rain performance), Sacramento 93 (November Rain acoustic - PERFECT). Don't dare to say Slash is "sloppy", back then he was drunk, high and jumping 6+ feet all the time and he put a good show, changing solos, something these new guys will NEVER do in their life.

Axl is embarrassing his generation. He used to be a great performer, now he is a poor copy of an old rock star. When i think that rolling Stones still perform as if they were 40 years younger. Go watch Indiana 91 where they played this song for the first time ever, Slash completely improvised the 2nd solo and nailed it perfectly. France 92/Tokyo 92 (best November Rain performance), Sacramento 93 (November Rain acoustic - PERFECT). Don't dare to say Slash is "sloppy", back then he was drunk, high and jumping 6+ feet all the time and he put a good show, changing solos, something these new guys will NEVER do in their life.

@Pop2Lock What Slash did in the studio with GnR will always be legend by skill and overall sonic tone of his guitar, but onstage with GnR Slash was sloppy. Only now is Slash getting it together onstage for the better. Slash was drunk and high allot on stage and no matter who it is it shows in the playing and no drunk or high guitarist is very good. Im not a Slash hater I just feel GnR of today deserve support its all we got left...its all Iv got left. Back in the day I was to young to notice

Just try to drink 1 bottle of Jack Daniels straight out, do cocaine, smoke weed, get laid, then go out to perform and run/jump for 2 hours, let's see if you can play one note. NO, you will be on the floor in 5 minutes, so Slash deserves some respect. @WayneWiblin you know what? all i know is that when it comes to GNR songs the new lineup sucks and not because of the drums or the bass but cause of the lead guitar which cannot catch up to Slash's speed and standards. only in the chinese democracy songs do these guys perform great. Axl and Slash were legends, are legends and will always be legends. Slash wasn't sloppy.

@Pop2Lock well watch slash playing welcome to the jungle drunk....how good is that? not very! slash did usually play incredibly well considering all the shit in his system but there were times caused by self indulgence that he messed up the songs. something the new guys will NEVER do in their lives. You cannot deny that they are all great guitar players and as a fan of GnR since i got into music i can honestly say i'm happy with the band as it is today. the current line up are fucking great!

Thousands, but as I said before the man was high, drunk and running the whole time, not standing like a fuckin' flag playing the guitar with no feeling. Even Axl forgot 90% of the lyrics and sang terribly in both shows at Rock in Rio, 1991. Why the fuck criticize fuckin' Slash? The man WAS fucked up, but NO MORE and he's KING in comparison with the new-band members. PERIOD.

@Pop2Lock i'm not bashing the old line up i just don't see the point in comparing them. the original was the best...probably didn't play as well as the new from what i can see from old footage but they had a different energy that can't be recreated...however going to watch GnR now is impressive n so many levels...great showmanship from the band, great lie feel to the songs even though it sounds identical to the studio with slight deviations. we all hold a candle for an original line up... but!?
