  • @nashina2452 her cover you mean...not her song

  • What an angelic voice. :)

    Agree guys?

  • Her voice is so incredible! Awesome song.

  • nice

  • This song gets me to the core and this version would have to be the most beautiful I've heard. I could listen to this over and over again and never be tired of it.

  • EMINEM <3

  • This is so sweet :))

  • she's so amazing. The only singer who won about 26 Grammy awards, if not more :)

  • @MusicalCitty no offence but the grammys dont mean a thing in reality,,just like the billboard charts,,its artificially fixed but talent like alison krauss is just not negotiable,,isnt she something ?

  • @robharding1957

yeah, I know that :) You're actually right. Well, what I meant was, that she really desserves this, don't you think ?

  • @MusicalCitty yes of course she does,,and much more in the way of world rocognition for her outstanding vocal range, not to mention being very easy on the eye, but thats just from a male perspective,,regards ,rob

  • hahahhaha hahaha hahahaha, evil fucking grin ;) baby baby

  • This version sucks, the live version is way better, her voice sounds more real.

  • Wow. I just heard this the other sday for the first time. Amazing remake. Wonderful!

  • Thumbs up if this song makes you think of Jennifer Love Hewitt walking into a bar and meeting Jason Lee.

  • I think you'll find the band's name is The Foundations (plural not singular). Tthey're both nice although most people who were young back in '67 are more likely to want to hear the original - same as people who are young now won't be as keen on some version of a favourite song done by someone else in 30 or 40 years time. Personally I think it's always nice to hear a different take on a song, rather a straight cover. The writers, by the way, were Tony Macaulay and John Macleod.

  • love it!!

  • i'm relating to this very song now...sucks :(

  • i like this song very much

  • @1980mera why, it's terrible. She also ruined Robert Plant.

  • ...i love this song too :)

  • Gotta love that crisp, bell like acoustic guitar...

  • such a beautiful voice.

  • makes me back during elementary years, imagining of a serenading boy and girl during a promenade, or sometimes a diary of a woman to her crush.

  • IT'S SO SAD! I HATE THIS SONG.. IT MAKES ME SAD.

BUT KEPT ON LISTENING TO THIS

  • @wLyhel The original is quite upbeat, this is quite a different take on it she really has made it her own. Don't be sad give the original a try!

  • discovered this song from watching heartbreakers.

  • i like this than original

  • The original version was the Foundations 1967. You can find the video on You Tube.

  • lovely song.

  • Far better then the real thing,n'est ce pas?

  • I heard this song in the 2001 movie Heartbreakers and I found that her voice is absolutely beautiful. I love it!!!

  • love this song.... reminds me of my yves..

  • she is the original artist for this song

  • @MrZunichi21 I hope you are kidding.... lol

  • @MrZunichi21 No, she is not. This song was done in 1967 by a Brit group called The Foundation. This album, itself, is a collection of covers and past hits (w/Union Station) at that point in '95.

  • her voice is so cute..

  • no " the foundation " is original, but beautiful cover great

  • whos the original artist/songer?

  • Beautiful. Thank you.

  • Comment removed

  • I Luv this rendition...totally opposite of the original and that was Great too!!

  • When I first heard this (hmm,,,a few years ago,,,) i remember thinking that I would never have thought this 'R&B' song would ever have mad such a beautiful blue grass melody and sweet song.

thanks for posting , AnnMarieJane, and thanks Alison/Union Station for the tranquil-happy moments hearing your interpritaiton!

  • @Jakefeister i have to agree i didnt ever think this could make such a great transition and tbh...

i think this is better as a blue grass melody rather than the old better softer more emotional R&B
