  • Pussy dumbass

  • Hey I live in Portland! Where's this place at?

  • instead of homeless voice guy.... KNIFE VOICE GUY

  • To think, there once was a time when an asian with a blade was the most dangerous thing on Earth...

  • That not a knife this is.....

  • are you honestly scared to open a stiletto.... wow

  • duen your a fucking moron...people like you shouldent have knives...let alone guns...people like you should have to go through a long process to just acquire a spoon let alone other silver ware...

  • I could go hog wiled in a knife shop like his! Swords...switchblades...butterfly knives ect!!

  • There aren't two springs in a double action OTF switch blade. There is one spring and two sears. Pressing the switch preloads the spring amd then releases the sear holding the blade. The blade is then literally fired to the open position and held in place by the second sear. Closing is just the reverse operation. There is no physical link between the spring and the blade. Someone who sells $500 Microtechs should know this.

  • duen ur mom

  • Store no longer in portland. Now in salem.

  • @MsInox Thanks for letting me know! I live in Hawaii, so I was just visiting when I made this video.

  • Thats Sad. I wonder what those people would do if I layed my AK-47 in ther hands

  • Where has this guy been that he's never seen a switchblade before? Wow.

  • Chris from family guy and Jar Jar Binx had sex

  • My first switchblade was a Microtech LUDT back in 2001.

  • I like how neither one of the knives were switchblades lol. The first knife was an OTF(out the front) and the seccond was a stiletto. But most people mix these two knives with a switblade. yeah that guy obviously hadn't handled a knife before.

  • @555krazy by the standard of us customs and border agency... (which most courts use their definition) a switch blade is a type of knife with a folding or sliding blade contained in the handle which is opened by a spring when a button or lever on the grip is pressed.... so by law they are switchblades... OTF blades and stilettos are considered switchblades by definition... while spring assisted knifes are not.

  • @555krazy wow retard! switchblades are automatic knives. and both of those were auto! retard!!!!!

  • @555krazy Please don't try to correct people with incorrect information. Both knives were types of switchblades. Any knife where you push a button or other mechanism not attached to the blade to open it is a switchblade. Assisted opening knives differ in that the mechanism for opening them is activated by pushing on the blade itself. Therefore, knives using thumb studs or knives who use a mechanism activated by pushing the blade are not switchblades.

  • dude u sound like jar jar binks from star wars!

  • @Pent5HT Oooh! Maybe I can become a voice actor for the next Star Wars flick? LOL

  • @duenyen there aren't gonna be anymore fucking jerk off. LOL

  • Duenyen...my father's military knife is faster...it's just a while and here is the blade... like yours.

  • stupid gooks dont play with knifes. go back to japan

  • PANSY! lol I was using switchblades and butterfly knives when i was 9 years old and i wasn't scared at ALLL

  • You sound like an idiot

  • wow thry are getting way to exited lol

  • Switchblades are hot

  • you sound high when you did this lol

  • @shadowspirt4121:the skinner they are, the sharper they are and all the better to squeeze through your ribs bitch.

  • white hair dye? WTH?

  • @coletheanimator My age was 59 when I made this video

  • @duenyen that totally did not look like 59...

  • switchblades aren't even that cool and most of the blades are skinny as shit lol

  • Why are they going so crazy? Have they never seen an automatic knife?!

  • lol my first experience was when i was 10

  • what a squeaky ass voice damn hurt my ear

  • mine needs a repair, it is 9" italian stiletto made in Italy with white pearl handle. The spring came rusted and fall apart. I do not know if it is worth fixing it ? I am in central Florida. I do not know who can fix it for me.

  • :16= retard

  • I had two like this and sold them for a couple hundred each. Microtec MISTAKE! Oh well, I still have two Microtech LCC Lightfoots....theres no comfort in letting one of these knives or a custom sell. I regret selling those.

  • The recoil is mild, trust me, lol.

  • Thats an OTF not switch

  • Dude this guy totally sounds like jar jar binks from star wars!!

  • yea, sounds AND acts like him, lol

  • wat was the first knife called

  • the dude is a geek. but its good that he want´s to learn

  • sounds like Erny from sesame street

  • the guy that holds the camera sounds like a RETARD

  • don't worry bout poppin the blade; you just push the round little button like thing on the side of the handle, thus making it pop and it is not disigned to hurt the holder... so don't worry lol.

  • dude wheres ur shop?

  • Very cool, balanced spring that you can activate by slightly shifting pressure between them. Clever.

  • That is a really cool shop.

  • Looks kinda like the BlackHawk stilleto!

  • microtech ultratech???????

  • LMAO! The asian guy sounds EXACTLY like Peter Griffin's SON!!!

  • haha yeah, i thought he kinda sounds like ray romano too

  • hahaha omg he does!

  • @longboardskater7 EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKIN! lol

  • LOL at 0:47. He sounds like Walter Cronkite.

  • I have that knife, but I oiled it,cause it was getting harder to open!! So can anyone fix it 4me? Or lead me in the right direction to buy a new one? thank for everyones help!

  • You can fix it yourself. Its a very simple design and there is not too many things that can go wrong. Your knife probobly has a worn slider release. You can just file it and make it smooth again. Look around the net to see how they actually work before you open it up.

  • your wrong theres only one spring used for deployment in microtech otfs

  • science wins :D

  • lol my otf knife only has one spring

  • Oh ok thanks

  • Oh ok cool, thanks.

  • Dang! is there like a cheaper out the front knife?

  • This is top of the line! I'm sure there are cheaper ones, but they won't be as fast!

  • yea local shop here has ones like that for 30$...slopy lock ups but still fun

  • @heatfreakk3

NATO or Concord OTFs cost only about $20 but they break fairly easy.

  • Hey how much would a stilleto like the dude was showing be?

  • $650

  • @heatfreakk3 go to a gun show and get one for $30.

  • its not a switch blade its a fucking stilleto

  • Ok nitwit. A switch blade..means switch...up and down...hence out the front switchblade. A Stilletto comes out the side and is Italian design which is why they are among the most expensive kind to own. I am a knife collector and go to shows and sharpen professionally.

  • I jack off 2 this everyday and have orgasms doin it im a freaky dude my name is Thomas by the way i dont actully own a computer im doin this through my mind!!!!!!!!!

  • XDXDXDXDXDXD

  • im scared to hold this omg!....stfu pussy

  • "oooh woooow oh my good oooh wooow"

    what a retard nerd

  • @BonAquak Well, he is highly respected famous gentlemen, a TRUE war hero.

  • Looks like an awesome store.

  • retards

  • how much was it?

  • man,you look like your in your 50's,and you never used a switchblade?!? I've had my first experience when i was 5!

  • LOL! The video was taken last year when I was 59. I had a very protected upbringing.

  • dam for a older guy he was pretty k00l

  • Hahaha mate you're like a little kid when people play 'peek-a-boo' except this time it's played with a switchblade.

  • Ha ha ha! You said it perfectly. That's what some people say about my personality, sometimes its kid like, full of awe and wonder. Check out my latest video where I take a child to visit Bishop Museum. Just use the keywords: Duen and museum.

  • its like 20 $ fore an otf online

  • People talk alotta shit,I dig the video.

  • you buy one?

  • Nope. At $650 too expensive for me!

  • an OTF nife is 650 bucks?! dam!

  • really?

i think thats a rip off, cuz i bought one at a flea market for $10.

nd the dude told me it was a legal switchblade cuz i touches the blade first or something like that nd its pretty cool.

    but $650 fuck that

  • yeah assisted's are legal.

i got an assisted for $15, you can find cheap switchblades too. but the premium brands can cost in the hundreds. most expensive i have seen is $200 for an italian switchblade.

  • where do u get ur switchblades

  • Only one i have is inherited. However, I've seen them online, swap meets, and some times gun shows. Gun shows rock for getting knives, and if you know a vendor, or know a guy who knows a guy you can find what you want at a great deal.

  • in the lesosn he is talking about my dick

  • retracting blade - never seen that before!

  • I am so glad I live in Arizona and these knives are common. Last free state with only 50% redneck or less unlike texas.

  • that's a mature comment, you stupid prick!

  • Shut up, you aint sh*t.

  • Not crzt abut the OTFs with the plastic case though. The one I had some time ago was encased in metal with a onxy overlay.

  • Anyone recall the switchblade combs from the 70s ? lol

  • lol i have onme of those :)

  • I did a search & see they still have them, lol

  • I used to have one along time ago, and I spent many a night trying to figure out how I can put a real blade on it, but its too cheaply made to put a real knife blade on it!

  • I am confused. I am fifty & had severalswitch blades as a preteen, teen, and well into my 20s, and this guy is clearly older then me & never had one before ?

  • That's right. I am 59, and this was my very first experience with one. That's why it was so funny, and surprising about how fast the blade came out. In less than the blink of an eye!

  • sir, an honest question. you are mildly mentally challenged (not making fun of you)? i am glad you can explore the world just like a normal person.

  • Ha ha ha! Actually, I'm quite brilliant, but to some I appear mentally challenged. One of the funniest comments made by someone who lives in my apartment complex is that I must have met my wife in "Special Ed." I always laugh when I relate this to people.

  • oh, im glad to hear you aren't mentally retarded, its just the way you talk, it makes people think that.

  • Your comment is rather intriguing! What is it about the way I talk that gives this impression? I thought the questions I was asking the sales guy were to the point, intelligent, quick and relevant.

  • well.. how can i say it... its the.. accenting and the slurring of your voice. that is what i meant. your questions were very intelligent, i wasn't refering to them.

  • Thanks for that most interesting observation. I notice that in some of my videos, sometimes I slur my words together, so much so, that I will retake the clip to get the words out more clearly. You've piqued my curiosity, so I will have to ask some of my friends if that was their first impression of me. If you check my latest video, on my channel profile, I also notice I run my words together. Is that what you mean?

  • yeah, thats what i meant. im glad your not mentally retarded though. i feel sorry for people who are. subscribed btw.

  • Thanks! I just sent you my latest video. Appreciate any comments

  • I just recently took the online test for Asperger Syndrome (Google "Asperger AQ test Pie Palace" to find it) It is considered a mild form of autism, and I scored very high, a 38! I asked some of my friends if they thought I had AS, and some said yes. So this is an interesting revelation. No wonder I cannot recognize faces too easily because I never looked at anyone when I spoke to them so all that facial recognition software in my brain was never wired up correctly.

  • Guess that was YOU huh?

  • That second guy is Dr. GOO-FY for Real. LOLOLOL

  • retards

  • what kind of knife is the first one????

  • Microtech combat troodon serrated $650

  • 650 bucks for that lil knife?

    lol nty

  • cermet the frog

  • how much does it weigh...

  • wat a wuss

  • don't cut yourself with this knife. it is not a good knife anyway. it has no guard and your hand could slip on the blade.

  • I'll be careful. Thanks for your concern :)

  • "i'm scared of these things" lol

  • The Ultratech has ONE spring. The Scarab however has two.

  • lol its like entertaining a big dum retarded kid...

  • Switchblades should be legalized for carry again in the US. Really, how's it any different than pulling an already fixed blade from a holster?

  • some states allow it if you have a concealed weapons permit.

  • wow scared a lil bit you panzy

  • Is that real Microtech or a clone? I've been collecting for years & just got my first real one (Microtech, got it from TinysUSA) & can't get over the action & speed it closes with. Just Beautiful! I'm thinking of getting a Dalton next.

  • real!

  • How stupid...it is that amazing

  • and of course CA

  • There illegal in PA.

  • florida too

  • michigan 2, only for law enforcment, but i found a 240 dollar one on the ground

  • they're only illegal to carry in PA you are allowedd to collect them.

  • you can carry them but cops taken them

  • Isn't PA weird? Illegal to carry switchblades, but legal to carry balisongs.

  • And since I am here busy writing comments to my own video, I might mention that someone sent me anonymously a knife with a scrimshaw handle in the mail some months ago with no note or return address. So it that was you, Tom, my belated thanks!

  • I would like to credit mts00007 for sending the above linked video. Thank you!

  • Since I have not seen the inside of the knife depicted above, technically speaking, I have no idea how many springs are inside. The tension was quite high, and I found it difficult to actuate the knife in either direction

  • Oops, accidentally deleted the question regarding the number of springs. I just posted my video response to a video that disassembles an OTF knife and shows it only has one spring.

    Thanks for commenting

  • those are illegal in canada so that sucks

  • i know it sucks ass
