I was so blown away by this that in grade 7 I took the album to school. I managed to convince the teacher to let me use the record player, no one else seemed to get it though. I still totally know all the words.

The first time I ever heard Upstairs at Eric's I was 13 and completely blistered, high as a kite. We turned it uuuuupp l o u d! This and Herbie Hancock and Manfred Mann. Here I am 30 years later, high as a kite and listening to Yaz. Gotta get this CD.
