Otis is still alive, Dennis is still alive and Richard is still alive. Al died of excessive drinking. David got shot. Melvin abused medication (though he wasn't doing that out of recreation, he was trying to get better health wise) and it caught up to him in 1995. Eddie died from all that chain smoking he did.
