First time hearing at a Spundae's party at DV8 in San Francisco 94ish, e'ing hard, and than it's like "you got to believe, in me something got to believe in me you got to believe you got to believe...." my good God, i thought at first it was the original by fierce ruling diva, but this was different, and when the tempo drops for a bit, crazy!! still rmember that moment to this day, that was back in the half moon e days, where you dropped and you really did Believe" great times!!
I still rock this in my car, never leaves my CD player! (J.V. - The Beginning) Heard it in '08 one morning at the Whipping House in London, thought I was trippin' (flashback to the Tunnel!)... DJ was diggin' in the crates and struck gold!
All I can say is WOW. This jam drove the crowd fucking wild. I remember listening this track at the record store and I was blown away. I listened to the whole track with my jam wide open.
Fully classic amazing track. Love the Run DMC sample in the middle. That build was a sure guarantee to pack the floor. Thank you so much for posting this!
