Because you have less liqueur to drink to achieve the same result, u can theoretically drink more of it since you can fit more in your stomach.

So, i can still drink less liqueur and more beer and get the same result, thus things are generally considered "stronger" because u have to drink less actual volume to achieve the same results. Furthermore, liqueur is actually stronger due to the fact that there is less water in the substance, unlike beers astronomical water content. This video is actually misleading because they say nothing that really helps make a good decision about drinking.

OMG, this is completely untrue. the percentage on the bottle shows how much pure alcohol there is relative to the whole mix. so for example, vodka has about 40% alcohol, so a liter of vodka has 1000ml * 40% = 400ml of pure alcohol. The same 1l of beer having 5% alcohol, has 1000ml * 5% = 50mi of pure alcohol. So the percentage shows the concentration of alcohol. On top of this, drinking a hard liquor has an even bigger impact because the body can't metabolize alcohol so fast. so BULLSHIT

that's not true. The percentage of alcohol in a beverage is not effected by the quantity. Percent is just parts per hundred. There is no way she's a real doctor if she didn't know that.

that is true. her calculations are ridiculous. One standard drink has 1.2 tablespoons but a shot of vodka is smaller than a bottle of beer so there more of the vodka is alcohol which means that it has a higher percentage.
