Idina is one of the great vocalists of our time. She is so underused on Glee. If i had an actress/singer like her i would be getting her to sing at least two songs a show. LOVE HER.

Julia Murney sings this so much better.... Idina has HORRIBLE diction through this entire video. She can never seem to complete a word, with ending consonants completely ommited or mumbled. Julia also acts this WAY better and with so much intensity. Idina doesn't seem to have a clue what she is singing about...

@doriangraylabel ............ completely agree - I saw her live in this concert and she was terrible.......she sang Heaven Help my Heart like she was singing a nursery rhyme......Elaine Paige will always be my favourite, but Julia Murney sings and acts this about 1000 times better. I do think that Idina is terribly overrated.

I like to listen to this and Julia Murney's version either before or after. Their performances are just so different and I can't tell which one I like more. Julia hits that high note at the end and has her signature vibrato, and Idina holds solid strong notes and sings them with a lot of power. Both amazing

I adore Idina Menzel, but this was not the best song for her or her best performance. She is holding back. She isn't as harsh or as intense as Florence calls for. It feels very casual and relaxed.

I prefer Judy Kuhn or Julia Murney's version of this, but there is something about this that is very easy to listen to, at least in my opinion. Not my favorite thing of Idina's, but then, this is also such a wonderful song that it would be hard to ruin it completely for me.
