The capoeria is awesome but the costumer made a critical mistake in Mark DaCasos' uniform...his Green Beret flash was from the 6th Spec. Forces in Vietnam and was no longer 'active' in the 1980s. Just a bit of trivia.

"Parana" means"river" (RIO em Portuguese) in the 'Tupi' language ( Tupi is a tribe of indigenous Brazilians)

"Aue" is a greeting

"Paranaue, Paranaue, Paraná" for example, refers to the freedom that the black slaves of old times of our history (who created capoeira) found by passing the Parana River.

So "Paranaue, Paranaue, Paraná" means something like... "Welcome to freedom '
