Jesus Christ is a modern creation for Christianity. Christianity has its roots in an ancient Egyptian religion that worshipped the sun. Therefore Jesus = Son of God = God of the Sun = Horus = Egypt sun god = sun. Therefore to see Jesus Christ or the Virgin Mary is simply a creation of the mind in order to understand the concept of the "Universal Life Force" that is a part of the Universal Life Force Dimension = Pure Energy at the quantum level interpreted as radiant light to a visiting spirit.

She couldn't have seen that because 1. She was dead 2. She was in the hospital bed. (Assuming the story is true. I've heard other stories like this confirmed by doctors in the hospital =O)

The doctors there had eyewitnessed her death and her friends eye witnessed a shoe. (If it's a hallucinatory affect then she shouldn't have been able to percieve reality). Other accounts include where patients accurately described the instruments the doctors had been using on them (during a surgery, which the doctors admitted had been covered up prior hand).

Few would claim that dreams/hallucinations are "real", but when you put God into the picture suddenly everyone is willing to believe it. THE NDE varies from culture to culture, proof that it is a product of the mind, and not a supernatural phenomenon.
When the guy says "they're real" he means "I believe what X said is real" or "I want you to agree with me that what X said is real".. You cant say something is "real" based on hearsay. It's ridiculous.

@ProgLiberty Not neccessarily mate not all NDE's result in a Jesus type figure. i myself am anti-religion but a spiritual person you can have respect for the creator, god or whatever you want to call him/it without being religious. Why do I get the idea that all of this is basically to help turn people into conservative republicans who will throw record numbers of poor people in jail, wage wars for wealth, punish people for innocent sexual nonconformity, jail women and doctors for practicing family planning, etc, and not bat an eye, even while going on about all this goodness or badness... which happens anyway without the need for NDEs.
Scientists should do a Standstill operation, electronically stimulate the brain and im sure with enough tests and research, they could induce NDE's in a clinical setting and record patient's accounts of what happens.

Hey, I experienced something like that. I make meditation on my own and I have lucid dreams .But in one night when I was "sleeping", I found myself in totally darkness I did not know what is happening, I thought that is a lucid dream, but everything was black, and then I got scared and then a little light very bright start to appear in front of my face ( I was on the ground, I could feel it ), but I scared too much and I woke up. That was interesting . I could not pass the fear...:))
Why have I not heard about these verifications of out of body experiences before? I've read a lot on this. And the Christian slant on this is very suspicious too - that's not apparent in other studies. This is a pretty poor documentary really.
I wonder, why didnt anyone try to ask NDE's about any text they have might seen. We know that we cant read any text in dreams, no matter how vivid they are, but if we found out that we can read text in NDE, we might get a connection between dream, consciousness and death
@worderr my mom used to work in the E.R. at the UWM and said they sometimes had electronic signs on top of the cabinets that would scroll asimple short sentence, 1 person reported seeing it up there (and no one knew it existed) but could not read what it said.
@Nana1986ification Makes sense, its interaction with the physical world, mind and matter are a bit complicated at this. What i meant, is if the patient has a book in front of them, and they read it. Basically people who had NDE said that they were aware of their existance, but the problem for me is, that most of those people only tend to explore what is in front of them, they dont try to either imagine or think about something. I want to see if a belief system is a possibility for an afterlife.
This darkness is hell. The adversary wants all of us to die permanently, and Jesus is the only one who can save us from that eternal death, The one who is negative toward God will in many cases encounter the enemy of God acting like he is God but is not at all.

Then whoever will seek peace on earth even as it is in heaven having heaven in them, and have the rich character of Jesus that is gentle,and forgiving.

When Satan,s negativity is displaced from our body that casts a shadow when light shines, peace will reign on this world with persecution, war, and hatred of whoever ceasing, and uplifting positive words will be given even as you are giving them. There is no chance the wicked will suffer for an eternity because Satan has no life in him. and therefore cannot sustain life. There are also lying spirits that humans can encounter in a NDE, a person should know Jesus Christ, and his Character, and Gods word as translated by the sword of the spirit which is Jesus who is God. Have this, and the demons will have no power over you.

Hey, I experienced something like that.
