Are those RS GP batts? I run those in my E-maxx and would like to upgrade to something a bit better. A VXL with 6s lipos would blow the doors off the Revo. I'm not bashing on the Revo, it's an amazing truck as well, but it would simply be out-powered with 6s lipos.
@lowlifelivin first of all it was a joke, and i dont know where the rustler came in, the thing is 2wd and so light i could easily be pulled. the vxl rustler is a rtr just without a lipo and is a truck
its a tie, if you watch the drags in the beginning of the vid closely, you'll see that if the E Maxx didn't flip at the start, it would have won 3 out of 4. On the dirt, it just comes down to who's a better driver. This time, the Revo was a bit faster and more durable...REVO: The Champ!
to be fair the velineon is not made for a emaxx, you should be running dual in their w/ two 3s lipo's.. then say bye bye revo :) PS I have a converted brushless erevo w/ a Neu 1515 in it and it will smoke either of them no problem :) Looks like you had a fun day though!!
If you can drive in a wide open spot like this, then go with the Revo. If you live in the city and can only get out to big areas once in a while, then go with the E-Maxx.

@CRF150EXPERT no a VXL rustler would. 3 pounds lighter and 30 mph faster! 70+ mph is pretty much untouchable for a rtr stock out of the box truck.
