the 4.2 v6 puts out 256 tourqe i think thats pretty damn good for a v6 and now ford has the 3.8 3.7 something like that turbo charged putting out alot i just turned 150 running strong my dad has same one as me but 280 thousand and mine would smash his and i poop on hondas all day..... mine quick i like it

That would be a 4.2, not a 2.4. Personally I think Ford should've kept the 300 straight instead of stroking the 3.8 to get the 4.2.

You need to change the title. It's not a 2.4L, it's a 4.2L. I've got a '99 with the same engine. Great Trucks. BUILT FORD TOUGH!!!
