is it the pnuematic? if it is then it doesnt take any power away from the velocity of the gun. air pushes the slide back and then goes back towards the bb... so no power taken away

The trouble with a blowback system like this is that not all the compresed air in the cylinder goes to power the BB, as some of it is used to power the blow back itself. It's not a big disadvantage but it might be enough to put some people off.

@mikeeed - Yes the blowback is powered by air, but that air has to be compressed. This is done obviously like in any other AEG where the piston pushes air through the cyclinder. It's still called an Electric Blow-Back even though the blowback itself is not powered directly by electricity.

well i realize the entire gun is powered by electrical means.. but by saying electric blowback, one might get the impression of those cheezy earlier blowback guns which used both battery power to run the blowback as well as having the possibility of damaging your gearbox.. pneumatic blowback, according to the back of my box.. DOES expell all the air in the blowback piston. because of the deliberate timing of the gears, the blowback piston and the gearbox piston both finish in the same position..

Yeah, If someone didn't understand how it worked then they could get the impression it was an awful blowback powered by electricity. The cheap electric blowback pistols have it, giving an urealistic blowback. Yeah, pneumatic blowbacks do expell all the air in the blowback cyclinder. I was saying that the power to run it comes from the AEG's gearbox piston compressing air through the cyclinder. This means that some air from the cyclinder goes to power the pneumatic blowback.

Just a battery. The blowback is powered by air like the gun itself (An AEG powers the gearbox which cycles the piston) I wouldn't recommend an 11.1V Li-Po. They put wear on the internals very fast, so unless you really need a Li-Po i'd recommend a 9.6v or something along those lines. Even the KWA guns which are "Li-Po ready" will wear out quite quickly.

u may have a m4/m16/h&k416 but it is not made by top tech this gun uses a battery your thinking of a gas blowback made by like western arms, maraushin, or some other ones, but not g&g/top tech they uses batteries

M4 Ebb. you would actually get recoil and a slight "blow back". The toptech would just be the "blowback" and no recoil.

why would you want a blockback feature. People with real guns hate recoil because it makes your next shot inaccurate. id rather have a recoiless gun and have near perfect accuracy with each shot, especiallly on full auto, but whatever.
