it's just fiction, in the movie the dam was in Bosnia.

Both the movie and dam are in Montenegro. However, they are located on two different rivers.

Bridge - Đurđevića Tara Bridge (Tara River)

Dam - Piva Accumulation Lake and Piva River

I know the bridge collapsed but why did the clip end before the spectacular ending an if they had only taken out the bridge and not the dam as originally planned what would have stopped the Germans from crossing over the valley using the dam.
