Mac hardware + Mac OS X perfect combination. No other PC vendor can provide such integration at all. I am pc user for 15 year and might continue using it but from past 5 years I am also using mac and I am fully convinced that Mac are better than PC in 'User Experience' and Design. I spend most of time of a day using Mac/PC so I can say that with qualification. I think most guys in software development and design industry prefer mac if they used once for good reason.

continuing! let me revise that last part from the period. a lot of people prefer Macs for video editing and things like that but really if thats the case your buying it because of 3rd party software. i also just think the interface is over simplified to the point where its hard to do anything other than run software (it doesn't let you see or edit a lot of your files). and that is why. im puting linux on my laptop as i type and it will run with windows. hopefully it will be good. I use windows on all my computers and strongly believe its a better OS. the reason is that computers are scientific. so you can factually compare two computers and decide witch is better and the truth is most PCs value wise are better. there are exceptions to the rule but there is no reason my $600 Gateway should be more powerful than my sisters $1000 macbook. In the end it does depend what you use the computer for. a but really then the only reason to buy a Mac is because of 3rd party software

its true that macs have easy to use software for making various media but that's it. they are useless for games and that's where the real money is. also there is no variety with macs. they are all boring white with the occasional silver and the specs are all the same. if i bought a mac book it will have the same hardware as a mac book bought by some guy spain. fans of apple... you are all corporate tools!

well, since you were comparing mac and pc, your argument stops when an xbox 360 is mentioned, and honestly, you should know that a mac is made from higher quality grade materials, all of their hardware is made in their facility (unlike a PC) and they're targeting the adult age group, so most of them wouldn't have an xbox. They aim at an easy-to-use graphical interface that barely breaks down and has 'bugs' like windows does.
