Downgrade the Playbook to 2.0.0.4869 (Rootable) - Cursed4Eva!

How do i downgrade for the official release of 2.0 this month, back to 2.0.0.4869 because the new os has bugs :(

Hey nice videos, really explicative! One question, hopefully you can help me out, im trying to downgrade with dingleberry 3.3 from a fresh OS2 update which was released today and trying to get to 2.0.0.4869 to root it. so, after downgrade the playbook reboots fine but it still has the OS2 installed.

@73hectorprada 2.0.0.4869 is also OS2, do you mean the latest update still remains installed? that is possible too as this is not a beta update that you received, there might be issues with dingleberry, so wait a little in that case, newer methods will release

@aphroditelikesme thanks for the response! yup i installed the latest that came out a few hours ago! and no matter if i try to downgrade with any beta, the playbook seems like it is downgrading but after restart it is still on the same latest update.

will this method work for me? I mean the method on this video? or is it the same as doing it with dingleberry?

i had a question, in dingleberry 3.3 for downgrading to 2.0.0.4869 do i download firmware in "CORE OS" or "FULL OS".

i get an error when i try click update now :(

it says: "An error has occurred while downloading software for your device. Please verify your Internet connection or try again later, if the problem persists."

Does this work with a playbook on ver 1.0.8.6067?

I ran into a problem. I don't know what I did but I have no apps except for my internet browser on my tablet. I tried restoring but it does not help.

@Rand0mVideoGuy turn off the playbook, connect it to the comp, desktop software will give you an error... click on update from there, that will restore your pb back else you can also use the full os option of dingleberry 3.1

Fallowed your instructions perfectly. once I click device and update it comes back saying there is no software updates available. What am I doing wrong? I tried with 2.0.0.6149 and got nothing so i restored my playbook back to 1.0.8.6067 and still get the same message :( Please help

@sexmegoodnow Ok, download dingleberry 3.1 and use that to downgrade to the "full os" ill make a video on how to do that within the next 24 hours if needed follow that bro, gluck

@mehulyadav bro i dont understand, can you explain where exactly you are... if you are planning to go to 4869 you need to have pbupdate server installed and then download the 4869 software and paste it into the pbupdateservers folder then when you try to update you will find 4869. Try watching the video again and you should get it, leave a comment if there are issues :)

@DrJayTew Run it normally without admin, just double click to open it... it will either run or will give you the "Could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:443 no listening sockets available" error... let me know what happens
