How to install vc wads using wad manager 1.7

@alexmatthews1994 The IOS 222 is not installed in the wii thus making the controller disconnect and not recognizing the IOS. Look up tutorials on how to install IOS

That's good, that means you're doing it right.

All you do at this point is uninstall the wad for the free RB DLC (presumably).

So: Install WAD: "Error ret-1022"

press A; hit uninstall WAD. it should be successful

i installed ios36, downloaded 4 vc games (NES). i installed them with(?) nearly every ios. everytime i start the games the screen turns black and the wii controller turns off. i dont no whats wrong and i dont get any answers on the internet

I have wad manager 1.7 and with almost every ios i use (222, 249, 250, 36, 58) it works and adds channel but when i start channel its black but i hear the games music and when i pause i can see game in background and the operations guide is there. Why is That, and What can I do to fix this? Please Help. Thank You for your time.

why did you use IOS 222? and not IOS 249? can i use ios 249 to install wads?

@joshman196 ios 249 doesnt work you wanna use ios36, if you use ios249 it will just freeze and your wiimote will go off.

@BlueEarthProductions you have to install ios36 first to be able to use it, use the cios installer to do that.

hey man, could you tell me how to install the 1.7 manager? I've seen a couple of videos using it, but not how it got there. I got 4.3U but i also got homebrew with no problems so far. I've ran some emulators so my hacks overall work. i've put the cIOS_Rev 17 or whatever previously so if i need to do that, i've done so. What i did was put the .dol file in a folder called WAD Manager 1.7 in the "apps" folder but it's not showing up. Think you can help me out bro?

@8dragonquest look at the video, follow what he did. I thought it was 249 at first, then I followed him by choosing 222 and it worked.

249 gives me like -ret 1 or something.
