There is no more "Mission to Mars". That was at the Magic Kingdom, and became first ExTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, and then Stitch's Great Escape. This is "Mission: Space" at Epcot. --> From a former WDW Cast Member
First of all why would u bring a 4 yr old boy on this ride and second she shouldve read the warnings great ride I love it I wanna go back and ride it again
A great ride but I only went on once. I took the full-on Orange option and I found the g-forces and the spinning all fine, but as a warning you find yourself are in a super-small super-cramped space. Absolutely no good if you don't like feeling trapped in Harry Houdini escape simulator. It was the memory of the confinement that put me off a second ride, not the spinning or the g-forces. The latter was the best bit! The green ride option is just the same on bodily encasement less movement.
gawd i rode this ride with my sister last month and after the ride i was tingling and my sister felt dizzy....suddenly she became better when she ate some food
i had to the commander and engineer part cause there was 3 of us and no single rider available but the g-force wasnt AS strong as i heard about (i went on orange)
i had a bad exsperince there at animal kingdom my cousin got a coch roach in his salad and on mission to mars the whole ride got shut down because somebody threw up in my cart that i sat in
The moon missions were faked. Google "The Naked Scientists". In the "New Theories" section of the forum there's a thread entitled "Did we land on the moon?". On page 15 there's a partial summary of hoax evidence. It's the seventh post from the top.
After the Apollo hoax, we have to wonder about everything else too.
I pressed only wrong buttons! I didn't understand a thing. I was the pilot and when we crashed everywhere I also said "sorry!" to the other members of the team. Hilarious and unforgettable (as well as my whole holyday in Florida. Sunshine state, I love you!)
Ye but its not just a simulator... I went on it when i was 7... While your watching the video as you take off the simulatore actually spins u round in a circle and the g-force pushes u against the seat and it feels like ur taking off :D sooooo much fun
its cause when ur on it, it applys i duunno about 3 g force which makes it so that u cant move, and ur mind is trained to make it think it looks real so u actually get butterflys in ur stomach
lol yeah i remember that ride. my sis picked the most intense without telling us. i was so sick after it finished that i went out through the entrance. then a lady was entering with her kid and asked me how it was....i responded by puking lol and was sick the rest of the day
OMG! i went on this ride and it made my dad so sick he souldnt do anything the rest of the day it was awful and at the beginning wen u take off that part made me sick and then i was fine but i never touched the buttons and yet it still did wat it wass supposed to do
ATLANTA (CNN) - The Orange County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 4-year-old boy who died Monday afternoon after riding an attraction at Walt Disney World.
Officials said Daudi Bamuwamye was on the Epcot's "Mission: Space" with his sister and mother, who was seen carrying the boy out after the ride ended.
There were actually 2 people killed by the ride prior to the change in intensity (known as Green). The second death in April of 2006 was a middle-aged lady who ignored the Warning Notices about not taking the ride if you have a known heart condition. I'd ridden it only that morning (she rode in the afternoon) and the ride was shut down for a few weeks after for modifying the ride to avoid future problems.
Great fun! Thanks for memory. My wife and I were at EPCOT on 4 July '03, and found that the ride was open for public preview. I would have happily spent the rest of the day in there but we compromised and rode it only twice. Three days later, we stood in the KARS 1 park at the KSC and watched the launch of the Opportunity Mars Rover. Great holiday! We went to Mars in a simulator, then saw the real thing. And the bonus? More than four years after landing, those wonderful rovers are still working.
omg i went to florida nd my nan nd arnty went on that ride my nan w felt sick for the past copple of days DONT LET OLD PPL ON lool i would h8 that ride dont lk small spaces lol :P x
