The first two albums I ever bought were The Hollies "Distant Light" and The Best of The Guess Who, picked them up at a yard sale when I was 10, loved every single song on both albums but something about Cable Car just struck home with me. I still listen to it regularly {and ALWAYS have} it's on numerous playlists on my computer, several mix CD's and on my Ipod. It takes me to a wonderful place every time I hear it. If I love a song I love it forever and this one is easy to love!

I played this song all the time from my Distant Light album. The first thing I would check when I bought a Hollies album was songs sung by Terry or Tony. They should have sung more in my opinion. This Terry Sylvester song is hauntingly beautiful. He sounds like an angel.
