OH...and should add, too, that this song has been stuck in my head all day, now. In a very, very VERY good way. hehee. This piece blows my mind; and those lyrics are frightening! 0_0
Just to throw in my two-bits worth...if you guys can find a video, or preferably an mp3 of "Parade" by Susuma...you guys won't regret it. I love this guy's work, and Parade from the paprika OSD may be my fav. song of his ever. Thanks for sharing! :)
i Uploaded a OST, its the same voice so i asume it is Indeed Susumu Hirasawa, from millenium actress (finally got name right!), it is COMPLETELY AWESOME, name is millenium actress OST ending theme , look it up you'll love it ♫^_^♫▐
It seems Japan turns out lots of great electronic musicians. I liked Isao Tomita when I was young, and then I moved on to YMO as well as Ryuichi Sakamoto's and Akiko Yano's side material, now Susumu Hirasawa. This guy is a freaking genius, what can I say? Who else is worth checking out?
Try typing into the search box "Sign Susumu Hirasawa" and listen to both Sign 1 and Sign 2. You should also try "Indra" and the other versions of Forces (Forces 1.5, Forces 2, Forces Karaoke version, Forces God Hand mix) if these are the type of Hirasawa songs you like.
You may also like "Sim City" the album, by Hirasawa also, since that album collectively brings together a lot of intense sounds and may be up your alley.
To me these lyrics show a really cool contrast between the idea of archetypes and androids - incredibly powerful beings - contrasted with an insane consumerism, where even these powerful things are marked with that little sticker "Made in Malaysia". Either way very very cool song.
And does anyone else hear echoes of "Forces" in this?
LOVE IT

Don't forget Phnonpenh Model, they've got some great stuff, kind of hard to find though.
KingOfUm 2 years ago
Well, any of the artists that were a part of P-Model are worth looking into (again, like Phnonpenh Model, hard to find outside Japan).
KazuoKiriyama666 2 years ago
Oh nice thanks
Yeah Hirasawa is that kind of composer like Hovhaness or Aphex Twin, /sui generis/, can't really be compared with anyone else.

The android that goes over Andaman Sea this morning have bullet gaze.
It have mother's heart in the will.
She was made in Malyasia.
The figure to pray for on high heat to burn the iron is pitiful.
All sleeping children aspire after her.
She was made in Malyasia.

The Humanoid coming and dancing like The lightning,
So the elegance smashes the heart of the sniper.
She was made in Malyasia.
Her appearance is invisible and inaudible.
Mighty Mighty Mighty Mighty...
Here comes sister Archetype Engine..
Mighty Mighty made in Malyasia.
