  • I find both variations weak techniques, they will play well against white and blue belts, but fail at the higher grades... But, then, there's always the catch: Roger Gracie submits the creme de la creme of BJJ with kata-juji-jime/crossed frontal choke... I guess the perfection of the technique can make them effective despite perceived weaknesses. By the way: very nice nick name kosenjudo!

  • This is Great simply and very effectively

  • what are the details of the sweep? just the leg over body is enough to push him over?

  • The leg over the arm and hooking under the opposite armpit puts him off balance, especially when you pull the arm and pendulum the hooking foot.

  • look Robson Moura's Spider Guard DVD.

    He have more details

  • nevermind i think i got it you put the elbow across the thigh, although its not super tight. it will break. speed is the key.

    thanks for posting this one.

  • sweep is good.

but i have a question with the armbar finish which i think is a lttle bit shaky. i dont think his elbows are inside enough for the break but it will definitely hyper extend that arm.

would take a lot strength to complete an arm break right?

  • beauty

  • substitute grabbing the sleeve of the wrist with pronated and supinated wrist control.
