i can see that zero generally keeps his attacks, but they are just different elements. like i've seen the down slash as earth, and ice, but here its fire. and the upward slash here is electric as opposed to fire in X4

You need to destroy the generator behind the wall with McWhalen's weapon (charged or not, both work). You have to use X to get it.

Yes, this is me playing Mega Man X5. No tools were used to make this run. Short-dashing is something I did for entertainment purposes (and to stay awake), seemingly aggravating the fish ship to attack me. Serves no real purpose, though. You might want to check out SDA for the rules I'm using and my run comments... although let it be noted that my comments are horrible.

Against McWhalen? Yes, technically you could obliterate it with rapid slashing, but the moving platforms make it too difficult and thus too time-consuming to perform (unless you play like a god).

The music for the Duff McWhalen stage is an arranged version of Bubble Crab's music from Megaman X2 sounds better than the first. X2 music on this stage, nice.

Personally, I always liked the "Deep sea" track better that never got into the final product. Perhaps it was too soothing so that the game testers actually fell asleep during this level.
