  • merda... porcaria...

  • Damn, we need some MA! Wolfie, please start your own band. Learn the ropes the hard way! Let's hope for MA, AVH, EVH & DLR with a brand new record in '09.

  • raypowersmusic i never thought of that ..thats a hell of an idea .. but van halen is bass , guitar , drums and vocals

  • was it pretty good seats overall? i have the same seat but on the other side for a different concert

  • roths voice is kind of annoying in this

  • way better than he ever sang in the 80's.

  • Any ideas on why Roth only does the "super-scream" a few times in each show instead of doing it constantly? I think it's because his doc told him that's how his voice is being destroyed.

  • i hope they tour again

  • They will for sure.. They grossed $93 million on this tour and I've heard Eddie say he's about 10 albums worth of material to record, so I would not doubt there will be a new album and a tour to follow... ONE THING IS FOR SURE, YOU WON'T SEE SAMMY HAGAR WITH THEM EVER AGAIN. Probably no Michael Anthony either cuz Eddie is not going to kick his own son out of the band.

  • Would have been so easy to put Wolf on lead/rhythm guitar and keyboards.

Ed's vendetta against Mike is personal.

I'll never go see this 'tribute' band.

  • You are right about Wolfie & Ed's Michael Anthony is personal.. but you are wrong. This is NOT A TRIBUTE BAND. I saw them and this is the REAL VAN HALEN 2007, 2008 & BEYOND!

  • I can appreciate having a Van Halen family member legitimizing the change, and true, I guess it's still Van Halen - but it doesn't feel right without Mike's vital backing vocals and bass grooves.

How are they doing it live? Triggers? I know Wolf isn't singing like Mike.

To me, VH with no Anthony is as empty as purists felt when Sam replaced Dave.

At least with Sam, they went in a completely new direction.

Oh, well, it is what it is.

    Life goes on.

  • Roth makes Ed come alive.

  • Truer words never spoken...it's amazing the poisoning effect that fatty Hagar and queer Cherone had on Eddie's playing...they really sucked the life out of him....David Lee Roth is Ed's musical soul mate...they connect on a spiritual level, and that comes out in the songs they make together.

  • Wasn't Cherone's fault. He was Eddie's pawn. VH3 (poorly titled, since 5150 was not Van Halen 2) was Ed's solo project.

Lead vocals on a track, only band member at the production helm, he's even way out front in the photos.

Cherone is a dynamic vocalist in the wrong situation.

Ed made a bad, bad album with VH3.

  • I was at this show and Eddie sounded better than he ever has since the 80's....David Lee definitely has a powerful effect on him and his style of play.

  • I was here too dude and I totally agree iwasnt around in the 80's lol but i have sen videos, Iwas jumping around through the whole show, I never sat.....BTW I really didnt like the opening act

  • I had tears of joy rolling down my cheeks when I was at this show....simply because I knew the ultimate Gods of Rock - David Lee and Eddie - were back together again and kickin' all our asses like the old days. Those two guys have a special magic onstage together....something that fat tequila salesman Spambo Hagar never had. Welcome back to the REAL VAN HALEN!!!

  • Wtf at 2:43, Eddie fuckin says... hey here's the time to stick in a beast of a lick!
