You should really always follow what your orthodontist tells you. They know what they are talking about. You shouldn't just go and switch trays a week earlier because you feel the old tray fits too "comfortably". You could either ruin your teeth/alignment or the treatment wont be as successful as it would be if you were wearing them for the correct length of time.
I'm currently on Invisalign and I am wondering if 2 weeks is too long. I switched from my first tray to my second after one week and one day, since the first trays were feeling too comfortable.

You should wait till the two weeks are complete.Well in dental pride they recommend that.
