Their elephant sanctuary is just a cruelty farm where the animals are chained on concrete and tortured a few hours a day until they have no will left. Once they couldn't import them from overseas anymore, they needed a farm to create them. Which they are now doing with artificial insemination because the animals dont' want to breed on their own.

He is clearly commanding them and possible tapping them with it so they will keep the circle wide and not close in.

Sorry ringlingbeatseles. Even though you wrote your comments 11 months ago, I still have to comment. Show me any proof that these elephants are "not abused". You must have your mind else where. I, for one, would take every circus down to stop the animals having to perform. Nothing in a circus makes me want to attend one. Clowns, for one, are totally creepy and scares the life out of kids. Every circus should be banned. Enough of my opinion and that's all it is.

Why do I get the feeling that the uploader is a Ringling shill who posts videos that don't show the real abuse? Very clever PR trick. Why doesn't Ringling publish videos of its training? As the Ringling guy said in court, "people wouldn't understand" - AH BUT THEY WOULD. These elephants spend the majority of their lives in chains or in train box cars. I dont see any abuse..oke the animals dont live in a big enclosure..but that is at that location.....maby they got an big enclosure back home.....all tho´s guys that dont like circusses and stuff must shut up....these animals move,walk,run and exercise more than they would do in a big enclosure!!

This video shows me a few things. First of all, you can clearly see the elephants come closer as Mr. Esqueda approaches, just like a dog waiting at the door. It also shows. Mr. Esqueda putting the elephants through a light warm up session before they enter the ring. Just like anyone who stretches before a workout, these elephants do also.
