My father took me to my first game at Fenway when I was 8 in 1971. He was the baddest dude one would ever want to meet or be a son of for that matter. He was not a nice person, but he was my dad. He was the poster boy for fighting Irish. He always thought he was above everyone. That he could kick anyone's ass (and as far as I know, he was right). Clemens actually THINKS he is above everyone. I wondered if Clemens threw that broken bat at my dad not Piazza. My dad would have broken him in two.

I used to be a photographer. I have been in the Red Sox dugout and have had breakfast with the crew up behind home plate (where they had all the memorabilia on the walls) in the past. I was a photographer for Yaz's last year. I still to this day (24 years later) have one of those shots up on my mantle in my home. The point is , Yaz could have gone to the POS Yankees for big bucks back then, but he was loyal to Mr. Yawkey and then Mrs. Yawkey. Clemens is the complete opposite of Loyal to anyone.

I grew-up a Red Sox fan. I watched Clemens pitch for us for 13 years. I knew something was wrong with him when he had some kind of rage thing go on in 1990 (against the A's in the playoffs). The asshole thought only of himself and started yapping at the home plate umpire and got himself tossed. It set the tone for the series and if I remember we went 162 games, won the division, but since he was our ace and got tossed the team folded and got swept. I've watched sports for 38 years. Clemens has provided me with my oldest memory of the game.

While I was a youngn', I arrived 3 or 4 hours early to a Red Sox game with my grandfather. We went down to the edge of the field to try and obtain a few autographs.

Clemens went down the line of children, offering his autograph. When he got to me, I got the whole story. He took my pen and paper then asked my grandfather for $5.
