Well, thats understandable. You should flex the string a couple of times, sand if it's a really fragile string, you should swap it out for a string that can take more. For instance, on the E-string that my guitar came with, it could take being bended really far out and held in place by the side of the pickup. But it couldn't take lots of tuning up.

Then I tried the sidepickup thing with the backup string, and then it broke.

I'm still waiting for a pack of 5 new high E-strings xJ

I think Megadeth were tightest live during the PSBWB and SFSGSW eras. Mostly due to Dave's voice being so great live then. Something happened to his voice after that decade was over. If you listen to some of the gigs after RIP, his voice is really high and kinda annoying and although it didn't stay that way, it never got this good again.

Dammit how come no one never talks about Gar anymore or ever?? He was an exceptional drummer in that band. I could only imagine if he was still alive today and was one United Abominations. As a guitarist Mustaine rules, but I even liked Gar more than Mustaine for his spazzing, complex , exhaustingly aggressive drumming style. I love Skull Beneath The Skin and Devil's Island alot mostly due to his drumming. I miss the old days of Thrash with musicians like Gar and Dave, etc. R.I.P. Gar
