If you are having problems with setting the graphics in your game because its restricting you create a text document name it commandline and put this inside the document -norestriction . put the document in your gta iv directory ex. 

c/programfiles/rockstar games/grandtheftauto 4

Hmmmm idk if this will work for you but try to do this: Put a commandline file in your GTA IV directory folder and enter these words in them: -memrestrict 314572800

-norestrictions

-availablevidmem 5.0

-percentvidmem 100

-nomemrestrict

it depends on what motherboard you are getting. personally i would recommend the 295 but it is more expensive, not to mention it runs a lot hotter than the other card.

ok...holy crap...how much do you spend on that pc?..i still play on my x360 GTA4 instaled to the hard drive on a 32" Samsung LCD..the game runs flawless.

it runs smooth here too but im having some problems with the graphics settings though. textures are blinking, i cannot set view distance above 35 and shadow quality refuses to change to very high. after disabling SLI (mulitgpu mode in nvidia control panel), blinking textures were fixed but still those two issues...

ram it's not the answer..so maybe installing another Nvidia 295..some people says ATI graphic cards runs better on games.

I prefer ATI's over Nvidia's
