you know what...i don't think an offical video would have been any better. something about the words on the screen against the blackness that makes the song THAT MUCH MORE poignant. it causes you to really focus on the message and i think it's brilliant. thank you. fyi...i'm putting it on my fb page. =)

I identified strongly with this song from when it first came out until only a year or so ago. But now, although I still find it beautiful and love listening to it, I find that the lyrics no longer describe how I feel about myself. What a wonderful transformation when one special person has confidence in you, and you are finally able to feel that way about yourself.

Its a great song and great video. Its funny how people when they are starting out want everyone to see their free videos, and then as soon as they become famouse the "premadonna syndrome" kicks in and all of a sudden everyone has to pay for it. Even when they just want to enjoy listening to it on a vehicle like Youtube where it cant be copied. Very sad.

I love your video! It is the nicest one out there for this song. I never researched the lyrics but I've always thought she said "but it's me who's too weak, and it's me who's too shy to ask for the thing I love, but I love. But I love, I love." It's kinda a minor difference...but I would be a bit disappointed if it wasn't "but I love." -lol- I liked that.
