At about 1:42, I don't really get how you time it so that the vocals don't conflict. I'm new and when I pick songs that both have vocals, it seems that the vocals conflict and it sounds bad. You get the timing perfect and it comes out sounding really good. Any advice?

I have this same Machine and it comes with software but when I hook my machine up to my PC it loads up and tells me it's a 10 minute free trial and I have to purchase upgrade. I have called Numark and they wouldn't answer my call. What to do? Do I need to purchase anything extra besides what came with this system?

@shalamar07 The Mixtrack Pro comes with VirtualDJ LE (LIMITED Edition) which means you have to buy the full version or use their LE version which you can change any settings. If you want to upgrade I would suggest Traktor Pro 2, but VDJ probably costs less.

@hitthedeckstudios The Maschine and Kontrol S4 are both great pieces of hardware. First off if you are trying to produce your own music I would go with the Maschine but I would look into Ableton Live. Ableton is software, youtube it..... The traktor s4 is great because its a 4 channel mixer, has sample decks and a loop recorder. The S4 or NS6 will be my next purchase :)

I love the fact that it's mixing mp3 songs without any noise, by conneting headphones directly to the console you actually mix pure version of the song quality from the hdd becaouse audio streaming from your laptop in done through USB cable - it's digital so every bit of data had to be delivered in perfect condition so it can also act as a secondary sound card considering two analogue audio outputs at the back

@TheDeankyle Ive been using Traktor for a while now, I recently got Traktor Scratch 2 and I comes with a mapping for the mixtrack pro.... One question for you since you use traktor with a mixtrack also. When I loop in no matter what BAR measure I have selected IE 16 bars, when I activate the loop it automatically goes to 4 bars. I want to be able to activate with 1bar or 1/2bar. Any ideas??

@TheRealPrimeXample I have had the same problem when using traktor with the mixtrack pro, im not sure how too get around it, its been annoying me to. There are a few good maps around for download that work brilliantly with the mix traktor pro also (High/Mid/Low Kills) and a few other handy button changes. keep up the mixes.

@TheDeankyle So I figuered out how to get the hotcues working....... You need to go to traktorbibledotcom and download the map for the mixtrack pro. Then go to traktor settings and delete ALL maps that are loaded. Then add the custom one and it should work fine...... CHECK OUT MY NEW VID USING TRAKTOR!!

@DJForTune96 You plug in your headphones to the headphone jack in the front your mixtrack, press the small round "cue" button for the track you want to cue up and there is a mix/cue knob above the big selector knob. Hope that helps!!

I have had it for 2 days now and it does what I want it to. If you have virtual dj 7 and have the american audio vms4 skin. You can mix 4 tracks at the same time. All you have to do is hit the swap button and you can controll every thing. It is real cool.

yo bro, just got my mixtrack pro and i installed the software, i played a song an it only played it for about 10 seconds, now the sound is completely off, my laptop shows the music playing but there is no sound. i have a Acer Aspire, with a Intel Celeron Processor 900 running Windows 7, 3GB, 250 GB HDD.. On the box it says "Minimum Computer Reqiurements - Windows 7 32/64 bit, Pentium IV or Athlon 1.4.. im not sure what to do, i hope i dnt have to by a new laptop.. please respond, thankx.
