First off, get a Sequoia, I have a 2008, SR5 loaded, with a true Towing Capacity of 10K it's the best vehicle on the road. This is a two wheel drive and does not have a towing package, therefore the towing capacity is not 10K pounds, although it has the 5.7 V8 only 1 of 6 engine model codes carries the 10K towing capacity, look for the USK60L-GKTSKA in the door sill for true 10K towing with the 2WD model, otherwise its 8100 to 9500.The salesman will not know, talk to the mechanics in the back.

@aristarchuscom every 2010 model with the 5.7 has a 10K towing capacity due to the new standard liquid to liquid transmission cooler and plus all the standard towing equipment that came with the tow package in 2008. There are many more changes from the 2008-2010 model. :)

Well that's good. Anyone who gets one will not regret it. 35 years of many cars'n trucks by far the best and nicest vehicle to own. Safe -despite the conspiracy against Toyota. Caution: This vehicle is only for those who know the difference between gas and break and can stop from hitting both with the same wide foot. By the way in the Sequoia people see you coming and move over.
