i just asked my hair dresser about main and tail yesterday! lol... but he said not to use it because first it doesnt work and second it breaks your hair down. he said its supposed to make horse hair softer by breaking it down and its bad for human hair which is already much softer than horse hair.  so my vote... dont do it!

Love your videos. Try using shikakai this is an ancient Indian herbal treatment, i have used it for at least 4/5 months now and have gone from short bob to bra strap length hair. Also olive oil is amazing for eye lashes.

Latisse is the REAL lash growth product, hun. My lashes have doubled in length and thickness. I have used it now for 6 months. You have to know that your eyelids do get discolered slightly from this product, but it doesn't bother me, since I always wear make-up. ALSO you have to know, your eyelashes will only stay long while using the product. You stop, your lashes go back to normal. Reason: Your eyelashes live only 28 days, dies off, new one comes out. So you will always use product.

Hey Lorraine,

Try taking a Biotin supplement, i've been taking about 1000mcg daily, and my hair has grown an inch in a month. However, you should probably talk to your doctor or dermatologist first as you have sensitive skin. Prenatal vitamins don't work, it's a myth. It's the hormones from when you're pregnant that make your hair grow.

Also as hair is pretty much just dead protein, shampoo & conditioners won't really help as the hair it is treating is already dead.

About your hair and lashes...try taking a pre-natal vitamin daily (i think you've mentioned that trick before), drinking lots of water, and use Argan Oil (Josie Maran @sephora makes one, Morrocan oil is the same idea) and use that on your hair and lashes to nourish them. Breakage is the biggest culprit for losing hair and lash length. good luck chica!

NO shampoo or conditioner will make your hair grow longer. There is shampoo and conditioner that will prevent breakage and make the hair shaft thicker or stronger so that your hair won't break off and get shorter, but nothing will make your hair "grow" faster. However, taking a multi vitamin, or hair-skin-nails vitamin every day WILL help with hair growth.

I want to tell you something use tressume shampoo and conditioner it makes your hair grow. Great and also makes it soft. Hair looks nice on you long but make it grow just a little shorter i think it's my opinion. Think it's to long the extensions. You look pretty anyway.

I've used Jan Marini eyelash, which worked really well. I tried Talika Lipocils (only 30 bucks on amazon!) and it worked just as well as Jan Marini. I gave my tube to my sister and am purchasing another for myself. I have never used Lilash. I have heard the new Rx version is the best. Not covered by insurance, so cost is still upwards of $120.

I have this shampoo and conditioner and I am on my second big bottle. I never read the directions on the bottle so I have been just using it like any regular shampoo and conditioner and it seems to work fine. I never leave it in, I just rinse out right away, I don't notice any residue, maybe you are using too many styling products, if so maybe shampoo three times instead of two and then condition. I only use a weightless styling product that you pump out almost like foaming hand soap

When you get the greasy thing on your head after conditioning, you should put shampoo on again, because I was using a seriously nourishing leave in conditioner, and everytime I used it I washed it out so thoroughly and there was still residue on the scalp, So, I just ended up massaging my scalp with a tiny bit of shampoo :)

Even using the Latisse prescription eye lash growth enhancer it will do the same as LiLash. If, you don't keep it up continually your lashes will go back almost to their original state.

I think most of us girls have a problem with control when it comes to going into any store that we know carries makeup, hair products.

I've tried the Murad Shampoo and it made my hair dry. I haven't tried the conditioner. I've never used LiLash, so I don;t know if this would compare- but I've been using Ardel lash & brow accelerator (comes in a black tube) at Sally's beauty (cost 15.00) and I've noticed a difference. Plus I dont get any irritation. Thanks for sharing your haul! I love Ulta!

I work at Beauty Brands, it's basically like Ulta...we sell all of the stuff you purchased in this video.

I would suggest using the Nioxin (it's actually pronounced Ny-ox-en), if it's worked for you before then that's probably what you need to use.

I never used Murad, but I have some knowledge about hair. If the shampoo is for people with thinning hair and you don't have the thinning hair problem, then you shouldn't use it because it could have reverse affects for people who does not have thinning hair.

I used the exact same Murad shampoo. Within days my hair seemed to become fragile and fall out easily AND i got flakes from an irritated scalp. GROSS!
