I have to say Whitney's milktank has to be the most irritating pokemon to fight out of all the gym leaders pokes. Second would be Jasmine's Steelix , i didnt realize how hard it was if you didnt choose Totodile, It can tank my Quilava's flame wheel like nobody's busniess. Brawly's Makuhita and Maylene's Lucario are the only other pokemon i had trouble with. 1st gen was easy with Bulbasaur. And 5th gen wasnt that hard after they give you the monkey.

Clair is easily my favorite Gym Leader of any Gen. She gave me nightmares with her Dragons; and it sure didn't help that she was an asshole on top of that (especially in HGSS; where she basically explodes after you win a certain pokemon in Dragon's Den). Tough Love FTW?

Whiteys miltank: Alot of HP and DEVESTATING defence. Can kill yourstongest pokemon with rollout ANYTIME.

Normans Slaking: RIDICULOUS AMOUNTS OF HP AND ATTACK, tho only attacks every other turn, its hard to fight because of norman having 2 super potions the the battle.

Lenoras Watchhog: Not too much HP nor defence, it has good amounts of attack but still not as tough as miltank or slaking.

When up against her clefairy you spam defense curl until you cant no more and then kill it with magnitudes. Now against miltank spam magnitude until its below half its health.
