There are actually many Cape Verdeans who are directly descendant from Jews from Morocco, Spain and Portugal. The former Prime minister Carlos Wahnon Veiga, is of Moroccan Jewish ancestry.

The enslaved Africans were of various Tribes; Fulani, Mandjak, Wolof etc. I don't think they were all Jewish, remember Judaism has existed in Northern and Eastern Africa for thousands of years. And Jews have traded with West Africans in West Africa for centuries. But west africa has it's own tribes.

Recent DNA studies of Cape Verdeans(the general population) show that there is only a small trace of Euro ancestry. Mostly W. African, but there is a relatively high N. African/Middle Eastern lineage on the paternal end. I do not think it's all from the Jews, but I do think there is much to be discovered on who populated the islands. It was not Europeans for sure.

Euros never exceeded 1% on islands. I just discovered the first groups of slaves were actually the extinct Guanches from the Canary islands, which would explain alot. Considereing there weren't enough Euros on the island to produce a mulatto population.
