The song is called 'Phantom of the Opera'. The shortened version (i think our verion is this one) is the overture for the beginning, and the longer one is later in the movie, when they sing the duet. Either way, that is the title of the song.

Some of the rhythm was off; also, the tempo was muddled and did not always continue evenly. You also need to word on watching the things that the music tells you... for example, at the beginning of this particular piece, it reads "Slowly," then there is a break, three notes, and then "Faster" (or Quickly, I don't remember). However, do not rush. Watch your dotted quarters and eighth notes - the dotted quarter notes were not held long enough, causing the two to be played as ONE same eighth note.

I really enjoyed seeing how you adapted ALW's song. It was, in one word, interesting. The very beginning I didn't like too much-- a little too jazzy for me. However, the rest was played beautifully and uniquely. I love how you threw in sharps (That's what I think they were. I'm no pianist). It made it much more raw, breakable, breaking. Great job.

Don't ask how to play it, that's kinda obvious, just practice playing accords a lot, i guess everyone who's good at music can play that song without notes. So then just add the bass background, and here it is - you can play it too.

there's alot of tears in the piece. There needs to be more consistency. Like mentioned before, this piece isnt about speed, it should be played at a more andante tempo.

I think you should have someone sing with you while you play to help you to try to understand the melody that it's a relaxing tune and not "WOOO WOO ZOOM BEEP BEEP" which is what it was played like. You are really a excellent piano player, but you can't let the melody flip.

*shrug* the piece is 6 pages. shes been playing piano for about 6-7 years now. phantom of the opera sheet music that shes playing is "easy" to her. hence i think shes somewat overconfidant that however she plays it every1 will like it. but omg we timed her last week and she played it in 2minutes and 45 seconds! but after so many weeks it kinda tortures me how she plays it so fast

sf or sfz means sforzando basically an accent, so it'll be more than likely mezzo forte, and then get loud suddenly and back away very quickly. I also think your piano needs a little bit of tuning.

No I understand your point totally. I had the song before her. If you look at the girl anachronism vid you can tell shes into fast songs. i keep telling her you play it slower and i have the song so it's not like im lying but *shrug* and bout the tempo. she had it for one week when i recorded it. mayb in 4 more weeks shell correct everything but *twitch* her playing fast drives me crazy because it's not like she did it once she does it every time.
