one of my teachers once said, what you are shows on your face. If you are happy it does and when u are sad it does too. When u don't sleep it does. Have to say that exercise exercise exercise. and be regular and you will definitely notice a change. prefer aerobic exercises. See Jack lallane. He is the best..
I don't think exercises create wrinkles, that's just not true. I have never seen someone increase wrinkles from these exercises. In general people who are happy are more beautiful ;) so be happy and make your loved ones happy. And these exercises can certainly benefit people who are not that used to moving there faces, I mean typical people who have jobs that require no interaction with people or who don't exercise. Such people can definitely benefit more from these exercises.
All "no scientific evidence" means is that no one with an academic medical affiliation wanted to pony up the money for an official clinical trial. Such organizations usually don't want to pay for trials on products they can't ultimately own or control, so why WOULD they?
Just look at the people that do these exercises-- "no scientific evidence" doesn't mean there is no evidence. I'm so sick of journalists not pointing that out.
(and no, I don't work for Ms. Rowland or her organization).
You're right. The facial exercises must be done pulling UPWARDS on the face. Thus the muscles that pull the face UPWARD will be strengthened. This will have the effect of a face lift.
ha ha..so this is what l.a covers during a news broadcast..what about the world? JESUS. I bet when it gets to the weather segment it's like "todays high is 89 and what it can do to those pores!"
First of all, things like this is not on TV all the time. I don't know what channel you watch, if u barely watch news about around the world. I think broadcasting about health is VERY IMPORTANT! Personally going under the knife and plastic surgery is a bad choice for certain ppl, and face excerise SHOULD be talked about/learned.
Dr. Moy is right about our faces losing FAT as we get older... thus losing the "fullness of youth"... the volume.
But he is dead WRONG about facial exercise not being helpful in restoring the volume loss due to a decrease in facial muscle mass.
We need BOTH. We need to restore the fat AND the muscle. Plus facial exercise causes the muscles to produce Lactic Acid which stimulates collagen production in the skin... the way Sculptra (a synthetic version of Lactic Acid) does.
there both right mr moy is kinda right because if you do them wrong (for example pulling down) it can work the same as gravity and make it worse. I think if you do it correctly facial excerises can work really great. In Asia all the magazines in the health section had facial excerises for generations now. Its a great.

@boffo1962 You’re absolutely right regarding clinical studies that are prohibitively expensive for most companies.
