  • Go my name! Maestro like father!

  • Jack Black singing?

  • Nice solo at 2:45. Lyrics too mundane, though, for such a rich melody.

  • @TheSupaFro Not Oliver man!!!, the person who "Dislike" had two male parents!

  • There is a person who had two male parents.

  • I can't believe how Iron Maiden-influenced this is, as far as the song structure. The same way you can recognize an AC/DC or a Led Zeppelin song, from a million miles away.

  • Son of tiger!!!!!Excelent!!!

  • Love his voice. Hope he'll be w/Yes this Summer 2010.

  • Fabulous!

    Thanks,

    Oliver

  • The Mother's Ruin album is good, but y'all should really get the Coming to Town cd. Oliver recommended it to me earlier today so I bought it.

  • I met Oliver this week.

  • nada mal...Nada especial tampoco.........

  • Muito bom, viva Oliver ! Rss : )

  • es igualito al viejo.solo le falta la capa y los 30 teclados

  • Great! Heil Wakemans!

  • I think the music is cool, and David, it is such a privalege to know I shared my school days with you matie, love Maggie xxx

  • lets hear your song then buddy! I understand that it's not going to appeal to everyone and it's obvious that your a Rick W fan, which is cool but if you've got nothing positive to say then perhaps saying nothing would be the best approach? And do you really think he's listened to just the one keyboard player? C'mon man! Plus there's a lot more than just this on the dvd perhaps watching the whole thing might make your opinion a little more informed??

  • Very disappointed. Sounds like a boring folk band with with typical Rick Wakeman keys backing it. Yes Oliver sounds like his Dad but brings nothing new from himself. He would do well to listen to more than just dear old Dad. When you try to emulate several top notch players you end up with your own thing. When you copy just 1 guy you end up sounding like a cheap imitation. Also someone mentioned good to hear prog rock in the 2000s. This song this is not prog rock!!! not by a long shot.

  • It`s True pal!!!!!!!!!

  • What happened to the singer on the album Mothers Ruin Moon Kinnaird I aint heard anyone yet who can match that voice!

  • He couldn't commit to the tour.

  • Great music. The singer is very good! And Oliver is playing very very well! Great music. Thanks for posting!

  • The Song featured is from the Oliver Wakeman Band: Live In Katowice! Available in single DVD and Limited Edition DVD+CD from Amazon etc! Enjoy!

  • wow! i REALLY loved this, it seemed SO familiar immediately, like we should already know it!! do you know of the album name? thanks for this!

  • Good band, nice to see progressive rock alive in the 2000's!

  • I argee, If you have not gone out and got the Mothers Ruin cd yet, please get yourself a copy. Simply a great series of songs, one track is aout 10 min long.

  • This is a GREAT song! Good sound, the singer has a great voice. Oliver is a great keyboardist, like his dad! I must find this album...

  • you're talking about the singer who is out with yes at the moment?????? Because Paul in the Mothers Ruin is superb and has a diffent voice entirely to Jon! please clarify?

  • this guy cant take Jon Andersons place.

its one thing for Oliver to be taking place of his dad but the singer doesnt cut it...

    sorry

  • izus2002: If you read the posting, it says this is The Oliver Wakeman Band, not YES. Of course this singer is not Jon Anderson, but this is a completely different band. And, as a diehard YES fan seeing this for the first time, I think I love this band! Oliver was supposed to play with YES before Jon Anderson got ill and the tour was cancelled. He seems to be doing well on his own project! Chip off of the old block. Miss Rick and Jon..Forever YES!

  • Oliverr!

  • Alice (my wife) and I just watched this and we really like it.

  • Well done Oliver! I am proud of you. :) x

  • The song is beautifully written, the singing excellent(God what a voice!!)not to forget the gorgeous keyboard.Oliver sure does his Dad proud.

  • The singer is good

  • Oliver really has his Dad's touch on the keyboard.Excellent.

  • Oliver is really his father's son. Promising.

  • Having been lucky enough to personally buy this DVD off the guitarist Dave I was pretty excited to get it home and check it out and I thought it was awesome. Very high levels of musicianship and very entertaining to watch. This I feel is a bit of a gem.

  • Just bought the DVD all I can say is that IMO, Its excellent!

My favourite track is "If You're Leaving".

  • I want rick back :( but still this guy will be a good replacement

  • Watched the whole DVD last night. In my opinion this isn't the best track, so if you like this, the DVD won't disappoint! Would like to see some more tracks from it on here, as this would be a better indication of the nature of the band for those who don't know the Mother's Ruin.

  • nice one dave!!!!!

  • what does Amanda has to do with this video?

  • Oliver's half-sister? Can't think why else she would come up on a Wakeman filter...

  • Does anyone else hear Jack Black on lead vox?

  • Oh dear .. Oh dear .. low grade spinal tap. This is awful. What are they thinking. Good to see the venue is empty.

  • Yeah! We demand much higher-grade Spinal Tap! Looks like plenty of people in the venue to me (don't forget this is Poland) and they all seem to be loving it! Guess you're not a prog fan, as IMHO, it doesn't get much better than this!

  • It seems that we´re having a great Yes tour next summer. You´re most welcome to Yes, Oliver!!

  • Not anymore.

  • Big shame too!

  • beautiful, Oliver.. Que Beleza!! Can't wait for the DVD...

  • I am going to buy the dvd.

  • Sounds like "Nothing Else Matters" in the beginning.. but very nice, at all.

  • This is good!

I was curious about Oliver Wakeman's talent since he is joining YES this summer.

I think he makes the grade.

    Thanks for the posting.

  • Really really nice...

  • I can't believe that it was in Poland.

  • Why not?

  • It's the first concert of band that isn't Polish on DVD recorded in Poland that I've ever seen.

  • Well, I know a few. E.g. all Pendragon's DVDs were recorded in Poland ;)
