hey bro im new to the RC hobby...when buyin a new battery pack what does "capacity" means? is that referring to the length of time the battery is good for??

it will do 35mph if you change the pinion gear to a 28t but this is only recommended for on-road driving.

@awesomevids777 Yeah. The only difference between the XL-5 and the VXL is the body and motor/esc system. The XL-5 is ready, out of the box, for brushless systems.

Thanks PowKa. Do you think its necessary to buy the 4amp charger? Is it recommended? What about battery life and health? And about tires, do you think that is good buy spare tires for later? off road tires?

@pascoalato hey the tires are great but i would sat to get a 3 amp charder for the battery i would use that is i know better i just up graded to brushless and the brushed is great to start the battery gts hot but its notmal and the lige it lasted me for a little less than a year but it would last longer if i used a 3 amp charger not i use the turnget aucell6 charger so if i where you i would read up on that charger and get that one insed

Hello PowKa154, my name is Samuel and congrats for your review; thanks for the tips like the RPM bumper and the 4A recharger. Well, could you please help me on this = I am not sure if I buy the XL-5 Rustler or Stampede. I am looking for one that can run in all terrain, grass, small rocks, etc. I know that the Stampede is higher, but the Rustler do not look too short. What do you think? I prefer the Rustler by the design but I am not sure. Thanks PowKa.

The vxl is so much better cause the motet doesn't go out every 8 runs. My xl-5 did so put the $200.00 into the $300.00 or $400.00 vxl. And No, that didn't happen because the way I drove. I treated that car like it was a baby.

I have the xl-5 waterproof thing u said on there...not the actual car but the part on my rc car...but i cant figure out how to get my throttle to work...do u know how to make it work?

@1234Rcflyer I would highley recomend it for aneyson that has not driven rc cars, it is a good model and very stron and it can take a hit for noobs like me. So over all yes i would highly recemond getting it and best of all it can be up-graded to a brushless system to make it go faster oence you out grow ith current power system.
