I like the energy ... however after watching about 4 videos you keep telling me about what other instructors are doing wrong. I don't care what other instructor are doing wrong ... just show me what your experienced has to offer.
There are many ways to use the (Speedrock) You spoke about distance. I agree although sometimes it is simply not there for you. If an attacker is that close with a blade then your answer is a valid way to use the Speedrock. Other situations may need simply a face smash then a draw and Rock etc. There is no one way to do most things and this is one of them. I believe the late Chuck Taylor created the Speedrock. It is a valid technique at extreme close range.
