I guess what I get frustrated with is that there are those, and these people seem like they fit, that do these things solely for the purpose of finding a reason to sue someone. Get a real job for gosh sakes.

Also, if a law enforcement officer, in the line of duty, asks you for your identification, to include a drivers license, and you refuse to produce it, you may be detained. In my opinion, the person in this video was asking to get arrested. I personally know this deputy and I know him as a fair man who trys to protect the citizens of Roane County in a fair unbiased way. If the person had simply produced a license, he would have been asked to leave if that is what the proprty owner wanted.

I get it, you base your opinions on research you get from books. I live in Roane County and have for 55 years. I pretty much know most everyone in the county. I know the miners, the company owners, the land owners, the law enforcement people and pretty much everyone else. The only problems we seem to have are those caused by ooutsiders coming in and tellingus how we should do things. Like everyone else in the country, we have our issues, but we solve them in our own way.

We in Roane County TN, do not want outsiders coming in and telling us what is best for us. When they insist on it, they usually find out that it is not the healthiest thing to do. Im from the west coast and have never been to Roanoak County. Years ago I read a book about "wars" between mining companies and land owners and non-union/union workers, etc...a big mess. @VoodooPolitico First of all, get your names correct. It is Roane County, not Roanoak. In Roane county, there are no wars between land owners and miners. The mines are located on land leased from the state. When a ploice officer asks for youre license, give it to them, don't be an ass. You are asking for an arrest if you do. SECOND, the cop CAN NOT in any way touch or prevent somebody from recording his words/image in public while he is working.
