Read up before calling me a numnuts, and you'll find out that you can't remove the carry handle on the A2 but you can on the A3. Its part of the receiver on the A2, numnuts.

M16A1 was semi/full auto the A2-A4 all have semi/3round burst.

not quite right. the A2 and A4 have 3 round burst, the A3 is full auto. The A3 is basically the A2 with an A1 fire control system

yes they both can be put together the only difference is the internals of the firing mechanism.

Is he using an M16A1 or the current version the M16A2?

The current version is the M16A4, but many are using M4A1's. That was an M16A3.
