  • hahahah so funny; every positive word said about the ball in this vid is bullshit xd

  • Comment removed

  • Messi scores most of his goals with chip shots and low passes into goal. He was just out of his element.

  • the ball is great for shooting freekicks,it has an spectacular flight and you can bend it ver easy...but for an defence player or goalkeeper it must be a nightmare

  • i think that all of the fucking idiots that always complain about the ball, should make their own fucking ball, and then they can complain!

  • the ball is very good, i dont get a ll the haters

  • it is a very knuckling ball i have it my uncle gave it to me on my birthday .It goes where ever you want it to go

  • jesus christ its a football not a car...

  • adidas made the ball TOO perfect that player skill did not affect the ball.

  • Der Jabulani hat die WM auf jedenfall nicht schlecht gemacht. Nur für Torhüter wird es immer und immer schwerer. Es ist schon heftig wie schnell die Bälle werden

  • its a good ball yes it does swerve weirdly but a good football player would go outside and master that ball not sit in his house crying that he cant predict it

  • i cant really find a problem with the ball ill give it a perfect

  • Comment removed

  • I luv adidas footballs lyk the jabulani + teamgeist! F50 footballs r good too! I only lyk these coz I have a powerful shot and the ball swerves and moves uncontrolably in the air! I luv em most though for knuckleshots!!! ; )

  • Telstar FTW.

  • propaganda

  • I thought the ball was just going to be the same as every other one that they were just trying to make it sound cool like they do for all there products......but I hate it....I prefer the mitre pro max

  • the ball it's good, but sometime it's kinda annoying how it knuckles, but the players need to get used to it.

  • adidas got chelsea, discovery got mls.

    thumbs up for adidas.

  • The ball is great. If teams fail they blame the ball. Haters Gonna Hate!

  • @Zoran54321 you sir a perfectly right you just got a sub

  • @Zoran54321 some French player, I forget who, actually blamed bubuzelas lol

  • i've actually tried this ball out cuz my friend bought it online and it feels fine to me and has good control

  • yes frank, it is hard. so hard for the uruguayan ref not to see it ¬¬

  • whats wrong with the good old fashion normal balls?

  • @miguelin97223 the players have to make the world cup a succes not the ball dude....u dont understand what its all about. this ball is great and im not from adidas du dummschwätzer

  • Perfect shape my ass...

  • @pedinhuh16 your ass is a perfect shape

  • Tunel de viento??? asi no se prueba una pelota. Cuando esta en el aire esa pelota hace lo que se le da la gana. Ademas esta magnetizada: ama los postes.

  • there are 3 versions of cricket.....FIFA should create 2 versions of soccer.....soccer WITHOUT goalkeepers!

  • If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

  • at no point did they seem to test how you can control and pass the ball along the ground, which are the two most important things about football. Also it flutters in the air no matter how light you kick it. The world cup so far has been awful and it is your fault adidas. we don't want weird perfectly round heavy balloons, bring back the tango.

  • the ball is killing the world cup, simple as that.

  • maybe this ball made this goal possible?

    watch?v=imPSpcAzxI4

  • go ballack !!

  • Try the ball and see for yourselves. A lot of people are whining about the ball, and it's the same for everyone.

  • the worst ball ever created

  • I completely agree with the critics. The ball goes too straight at first, then when speed goes down it suddenly turns to one side - cannot predict which. Predictable curved balls may be almost impossible.

Bounces are weird too - it goes too high and too fast.

Good news for fast football, but bad one for the best - skill based - football.

  • It's impposible to apply real effect to the ball and that's because the air dosn't affect this ball like the others, we won't see a free-kick goal over the barrier in the WC, they all go out high, if there is goal from a free kick it will be rect and strong, that's the only way it can get in.

Rebounds are exagerated, the ball just goes out when players try to pass.

Remember R.Carlos's banana freecick? You'll never see that again. Players feel like playin in the hights like in La Paz, Bolivia.

  • @jcisola I completely agree. The ball goes too straight at first, then when speed goes down it suddenly turns to one side - cannot predict which. Predictable curved balls may be almost impossible.

  • @jcisola caughtemoc blanco mad e a freekick goal against nort korea

  • shite ball and how could germany be given more time with it, than any other team? That's a disgrace adidas,I love adidas and the products but this ball has been an absolute utter farce. You look at the goals scored and upto 90% of them have been from defender or goalkeeper errors caused by the jabulani, that's not what the wc is about, there have been no pure strike goals other than germany who seemed to be able to judge the ball 110% perfectly. Adidas (german company) corruption is not cool

  • Jabulani has aerondynamics flaws from irregular distribution of furrows on the sphere surface impairing erratic effec on fast forward spinning deceiving players and goalkeepers used to common balls that bear smooth surface. Elson Silva, PhD.

  • So far I've counted two goals where the goalkeeper had and easy grab but ended up being a goal (England-USA match and that other match played that same day). Ball has been trouble, especially in the bounces. MLS ball? lol

  • @GAMMAliciouz I don't think that has anything to do with the ball, that was just crap as goalkeeping, it wasn't even a strong kick for a international player level

  • last euro was more exciting than this world cup, is it the ball or what? anyone dissapointed with teams' performances?

  • people are so used of playing with a old pentagonal and hexagonal balls, when someone comes with something innovative, they make a fuss about it. im sure this ball will be a standard for years to come

  • @jecis1990 how can you make the ball standard when it starts going astray after 50 km/h?

  • @jecis1990 they probably spent a million dollars or more to design the ball and still everyone complains about it 'cause it flies weird; it's not about the ball, it's about the players.. this is just one of the fails at the '10 WC. why can't they make a regular ball and save money and time?!?!?!

  • I think I trust all the professional players' complaints more than random youtuber's approval.

  • Ignore all the negative comments, it's a fucking football! I bought it because me & my mates are excited about the worlds cup. It's lighter and I personally love it, you can get more power onto it, it goes where you want and if you curl the ball it's GONNA to curl, trust me lol.

  • Played a soccer match yesterday with this ball. It is absolutely awful. It knuckles and heading a keepers punt is impossible. The ball sails and moves everywhere. Missed tons of headers. Way to go Adidas!!

  • I got the yellow jabulani ball and it's brill :) does exactly what it says on the tin

  • Jabulani is the ball most beautiful of all the World Cups

  • Jabulani the best!!!

  • Yeah, good job Adidas. Build up the hype and build a piece of junk. The only people saying it's a good ball are those with financial connections to Adidas. All other players and coaches have said it knuckles at random and makes headers nearly impossible. Would it kill you guys to test the balls out in several leagues before using it in World Cups? Your strategy seems to be all about selling more balls - not helping make the World Cup a success.

  • @miguelin97223 EVERYONE complains about the world cups balls, this happens every WC!!!

  • @cesarthebomb You're right! It happens in every modern World Cup. And after the World Cup, not a single league decides to use the newly introduced ball. Remember that Adidas ball from 2002? It was too slick for proper control and just did a good job of bouncing around (I got suckered into buying one at the time). Nobody used it after the World Cup. And the ball from 2006? It was better and got some use, but very quickly disappeared also. My point is - if pros complain, maybe it IS bad.

  • @miguelin97223 In Norway, several clubs uses the balls from Adidas, and in front of every big tournament (Euro and World Cup) they use the official ball in training and matches.

  • @miguelin97223 wtf man every single world cup has had people complain about the ball, also it dosent matter you could play with a square ball but all teams are playing with the same ball so what does it matter. they all have the same problem

  • @chuckbuddymovies

But the problem is that every year, the ball gets lighter and lighter. I have the 2008 Euro ball from Adidas, and the 2009 Nike t90 omni, the omni has alot more weight, which you feel much better. Also, the lighter the ball, the easier it is for the striker to cause it to flutter in air, which goal keeps cannot deal with.

  • @chuckbuddymovies teams such as Germany have spent more time with the ball because Adidas gave it to them much much earlier and if you've watched the games pretty much every team other than Germany thus far has struggled with even basic passing of the ball. The dutch, england, argentina etc all struggled, so its not the same clearly for all teams concerned. If you look at the goals scored 90% have been from goalkeeper/defender errors caused by the jabulani & it's lead to a real low scoring worldcup

  • @miguelin97223

right, the best football is a usual one from nike or the 2006 WC ball

  • @miguelin97223

They do study to get a good ball.

But the altitude and the conditions in the stadiums is also very important.

  • @miguelin97223 why the hell are you talking shit? have you even played with the ball? then shut the fuck up... the ball was used all over the world 6 months before the world cup even started... so why did everyone start complaining about it until now? fucking players who complain are just pussies who cant play or dont want to make any effort

  • @miguelin97223 they use it in asian leagues before the world cup

  • @miguelin97223 btw m8 the premier league wasent alaoud to use the ball in matches because it sponser by nike adn the ball is from adidas....

  • @miguelin97223, have you ever use one.... ya thats what i thought, every body gives this ball such a bad rap, maybe they are used to a ball that doesnt have grooves and is heavier than this one, i think people should learn how to use it then talk....

  • @miguelin97223 I agree, the ball made the tournament tougher for players, and resulted in making some of them look like they have never properly struck a football. It was an embarrasment to the teams involved, and it most certainly added an extra variable which has no business affecting a massive tournament. Football already struggles due to its over-reliance on the match official; need these corporate fools further detract from the game's beautiful simplicity?

  • @funcdoktor I'm pretty sure that's why Messi didn't score so much. The ball is really hard to get to go where you want. Especially getting it high.

  • @miguelin97223 The Germans used the ball in their league

  • @LFCOnder8 Yup... gomez scored like almost 30 goals with it. I don't think its the fact that the ball is bad it's just that the national teams had no time to train with it. Bundesliga seems to be doing fine with it.

  • Yeah, good job Adidas. Build up the hype and build a total piece of shit.

  • 1:08 ...fucken mad swerve!

  • top players around the world r saying how c rap it is......i'll take their word

  • julio cesar, casillas, and buffon, all said this ball is shit and it goes all over the place, unpredictably.

  • @Someguy9406 I read that loads of players don't like it. They just have to try and get as used to it as possible, before their first game.

  • @ThatGuyMattt yeah, your right, but for a world cup this is quite a weird situation.. adidas should have taken the height of Johannesburg into account and perhaps make a special edition of the ball. Maybe if it really becomes a problem in the match they should use a different ball, although i doubt that will happen.

  • This ball is great for the forward, but for the goalkeepers is horrible

  • @shigueom Forwards and Midfielders everywhere are talking about how terrible it is. It seems pretty unanimous that it sucks.

  • didn't they said the similar thing to the ball they used in last world cup.....

  • @timmyfung01 and the world cup before that and the world cup before that and so on lol... every time you can guarantee there wwill be loads of keepers complaining

  • or listen to the jabulani-song :-) at jabulaniworldcupsong

  • the replica is horrible in comparison to the real thing, i have both.

  • @Progenitor4life1 how can you get the real thing??

  • @kukubird210 i simply bought it online from adidas and received an exact match ball

  • @Progenitor4life1 kk... 2 things: 1: did it cost more??

2: how can you tell the difference? (apart from teh quality)

    thanks :)

  • this is some greate ball cant wait to watch it i use on the fif cup(:

  • Very interesting!

  • Ballack!! You need to speak English when wearing Chelsea kit!!! xx Das stimmt?

  • just bought it from ebay for 140 AUD :) GREAT BUY!!! CANT WAIT to kick it!!!! :O

  • ho sempre segnato anche senza questo.

  • I got the replica, but it's still awesome

  • im gona buy it now !

  • i got this ball, yellow glider actually, it's cheaper than the omb

  • lol i have the ball amazing really good wen u kick it u get so much power

  • haha i wanna get me one of those kicking machines =P

  • I WANT ONE!

    IT MUST BE EXPENSIVE :(

  • I love these videos.

  • YESS BRO:) MEXICO!

  • its a football.......all they do is make the pannels different shapes and colour the ball differently!!

your foot does all the work!!!!!!!

  • yep, right - but the ball helps, WHEN you have the right technique... ;)

  • no it doesnt the only thing the ball is there for is passin and scoring it doesnt do any mid flight movements on its own

    your foot does all that

    yeah i no

and i am actually pritty good......u19 ireland squad :P

  • seems like we're talking about the same thing :D

you know, i just wanted to state that i'm of your opinion (with the foot doing all the work [technique])

i just wanted to say that IF you have the technique to bring no spin on the ball, it will knuckle more due to less panels ;)

  • I agree with you. I just cant imagine not getting knuckles with this ball.

  • oh, you will ;) i watched the game bayern munich vs mönchengladbach and there were some knuckleballs that dropped in the last second

  • gud 4 u

  • beautiful ball and design

adidas says its the best ball ever but I bet that in th 2014 world cup balls will have a even better technologie

Football is beautuful and nike and adidas are taking it to the next level

  • hey does anyone know does that knuckle like teamgeist or go straight

  • straight....i bought it yesterday, when u hit it, it goes exactly where u want it, what they say in this video is true

  • @ACHAI7 how euros does this ball cost?

I want to buy this ball but i think its too expensive!:(

  • @GreekFootbalLarisa i really cant remember sry..but its sorta expensive though.

if you do buy the ball, dont put too much air in it, or dont put the suggested amount, put a little less because to me, when its really hard it plays like a ball made to play on concrete

  • @ACHAI7 wow!!!

Thx for the useful tips ;)

I will buy the ball even if it is expensive!

I am curious to kick this ball with my friends on the park:P

  • @GreekFootbalLarisa haha cool, no problem, im gonna do that tmrw =)

  • @ACHAI7 I thought you can only get replicas, in other words, not the same ball as they use for the wc.

  • @yeahwateva Nah, they sell OMB. I got one today. It's quite awesome.

  • @yeahwateva THATS RIGHT, totally agree, the ball you buy in sport stores isn the same for the WC, in the ball you can read that legend, it doesn´t says its a replica, but it says something like that

  • @ACHAI7 retard (:

  • as i told you - it'll knuckle even more due to less panels!

  • oh.. in the video they tell its going straight and they have been working on that... well i will see when i get that ball

  • Watch the video, very carefully. At 1:07 you can see that the ball acutally knuckles. However, I would presume that now it requres much more speed for it to become aerodynamicly unstable.

  • how do you describe knuckle?

  • Cool. You put a lot of work in that ball!

  • wow... (O_O)

  • yep i had the same reaction lol

  • Sweet looking ball

  • Weird ball
