  • all these girls need is a little dose of democracy in their lives...and they'll be fine

  • 'And this is like on the easy stuff, too'. Id like to see her get off her ass and do those flips. >_>

  • tim ginks everyone!

  • side effects!

  • Comment removed

  • im embarassed of our commentators...... I HIGHLY doubt the commentators in china say that kind of stuff about our gymnasts! go he and huang!

  • And also, I kinda laughed at how badly he pronounced Huang Qiushuang....I understand a little bit of messing it up, but come on....that was just idiotic.

  • I kinda find the title a little disrespectful...

  • "This is like all the easy stuff" Pfft, please I can barely do a cartwheel never mind a billion flips!

That announcer lady probably doesn't even know how to do any of that besides a summersalt..

  • @horsestar26 Tim and Elfi are always like that. That is why everyone hates them. They are always just outright rude. I hope the gymnast(s) don't rewatch these competitions and hear them. They are just plain disrespectful. They usually favorite gymnast(s) too. Sometimes you can hear them say "she doesn't have a chance of beating..." and if she does beat their favorite they are all like "somethings wrong there." Sorry, they make me mad..haha.

  • Poor girls! To perform something correctly in practice as many of thousands of times as they must have and then to face this in competition is just terrible. I felt so bad for her when I saw the tears in her eyes. I know that gymnasts are supposed to be hardened to competition but I just wanted to run over, give her a hug and remind her of how amazing she was!

  • WHAT?!?!?! When she falls at 0:33, the guy just watches her fall!

  • this was unexpected...

  • i wanna see what happens after the competition/when they go back to the gym............

  • awww I feel so bad for He Kexin:((

  • Aww, i felt sorry for her after that.

  • What?!? Chinese gymnasts can fall off an apparatus? I'm seriously shocked.

  • Krama is a B***H!?!?!?!?!

  • aww, poor He Kexin

  • OMG the two release moves she does connected are insane.

  • heheh. underaged gymnasts fail. payback.

  • @hopesrovner fuck you while underaged they work as hard if not harder then us americans so give them a little bit of credit if not for the coaches most of the underage gymnast wouldnt be there so shut up and think before you say something like that

  • @hopesrovner I agree! narutosgirl is an asshole. The Chinks fucked up!

  • @skudaarkaat1 chinks? u r a racist bitch

  • @kmjys97 And you need to learn how to spell, you fucking DICK!

  • haha

  • I know how you feel!

  • meet karma betches!

  • Gosh i hate the girl commentating

  • They worked so hard. I don't like seeing them fall :( and then they cry and get so disappointed. They just need to know they are still amazing at what they do!

  • What a degrading title. For one, they didn't fail. It was a mistake, all gymnasts make mistakes but they are still amazing. And two, they're not just Chinese girls..they have names. Put their names in the title. You wouldn't make a title on a video that says "American girls fail on Uneven Bars" would you?? Of course not.

  • Wow, the people narrating are so mean "Wow, on the easy stuff too! HURR DURR I CAN'T DO DIZ STUFF SO I JUDGE IT!!".

  • @Haroids

usually the judges were gymnast themselves. and when they physically cant do it anymore they judge.

  • @iamsatin123 What about the narrators, not the judges?

  • @Haroids

yeah true hah i was just sayin...

  • you have just killed your famly's honnor! lol

  • @clayman012 that's not funny..

  • awww poor kexin was crying in the beginning :(

  • You know they were forced to run for two whole days when they got home for that performance.

  • @w8lifter201 Where u got this ideal ? Win or Lost dosen't matter, absolutely not, they will get many hugs and encorugement.from all coaches and teammate

They are the true superstar back by 1 billion fans, Do u know He won 30 titles+. yes, she did.

    She is talent

  • It's Goshiilla!

  • I love China. Actually, it's the Chinese people I love. From what I've seen from the media that is allowed to reported outside the country, they seem to be strong and brave and hard-working and self-sacrificing and so appreciative of what they have. But I DO keep in mind that there is a great deal more that is NOT allowed to be seen by outsiders. A great deal of poverty and oppression and too little freedom of choice.

  • "THAT WAS ON THE EASY STUFF TOO!"

bitch stfu, i wanna see you go out there and doit -____-

  • the lady is like "oh that was such an easy move" i wanna see her TRY. she's probably eating mcdonalds back there. little shit

  • Ouch...I'm more angry over the fact that the camera pans to He Kexin's tears three times. No need to revel in someone else's misery, we know she's upset.

  • Fuck Universal Sports for using a title like this.

  • Comment removed

  • Here's an idea, lets rename the video and PUT HER NAME IN IT .

She's not just some chinese girl, she's an amazing gymnast !

  • @Equinegurl96 we dont knw her name

  • i wanna give he kexin a hug <3

  • i think this has one of the rudest titles i've ever seen on a video. that's incredibly inconsiderate to the gymnasts... and it makes universal sports look really bad.

  • @runningswimqueen I agree that it is very rude but how does it make Universal Sports look bad? Its not like they made the title or are encouraging this.

  • @CABULLET1 they did make the title...

  • @runningswimqueen No they didn't, the user did. Sports network. They are different from Universal Sports. On there actual website it says "2010 Worlds: Kexin tops on bars for China"

  • You know, for a sports network you'd think that you'd have respect for ALL sports teams and such. To have such a title as "Chinese girls fail..." is quite uncalled for. Simply, a better title for this would have been "Errors on bar" or something less harsh. The term "fail" makes it seem quite discriminatory.

  • @SnoringPetewashere I agree. But I think what they were trying to do with the title here is sort of humanize the 'invincible' chinese gymnastics team by showing that they do have faults after all. But still, the title was indeed a bit harsh.

  • i was so proud of the commentator for pronouncing "he" right, but then...hwang kwishwang? no,no,NO! you're on national television, there's got to be somebody who can teach you to pronounce that correctly...

  • Cry babies... Suck it up. As an athlete, failure is part of the curriculum.

  • @PeanutButterGtr you are incredibly ignorant and rude. just sayin.

  • @runningswimqueen Um, excuse me. But when you're a world class athlete and you don't perform as well as you expected, you don't sit there and cry on national television. Like I said earlier, As an athlete, you should expect some failures and mishaps during competition. Failure should be expected sometimes. Failure builds character. Most of all, Failure is why good athletes succeed. Anymore comments young lady?

  • @PeanutButterGtr um yea, you put wayyy too much effort into that comment. wow. and they are teenagers who have trained their whole lives and if they want to cry, then they are allowed to cry.

  • Comment removed

  • @runningswimqueen No, when a gymnast trains her whole life, she should DEFINITELY be used to the idea of flubbing a routine. Do you think when they were younger, all of their training sessions and competitions went perfectly? NO, they didn't. It's foolish and unreasonable to think so. Sitting there crying is like saying "Oh my god, I didn't know I could actually FAIL!!!" Now, with that said, when you're done kissing their boo boos, contact me when you have something relevant to say. Peace.

  • @PeanutButterGtr have you ever been chinese and not done perfect... oh you haven't? then shut up.... you have no clue what their coaches do to them. and why don't you contact me when you find a brain. k bye.

  • @runningswimqueen Oooh good come back. No, I've never been chinese, and after seeing this disgrace of character and lack of integrity, I don't think I'd ever want to be. What does being Chinese have to do with being a mature athlete? Nothing. Yes, I know how their coaches treat them. I know that. It's still no excuse. You must be like a teenager. You're just as immature as these girls are. What a ditz...

  • @PeanutButterGtr those girls go through hell to get there. they are disgraced if they get anything less than the best. you have no clue what they do to them. so, "be like a teenager?" .. you must be one too, and i'm more mature than you will ever see because i can understand their pain at not being the best. i know what it's like to be there. and the ditz, it's you.

  • @runningswimqueen Yeah, you DON'T know what it's like to be them because you aren't an elite gymnast. I don't care how much you rant about those barbie dolls sobbing about fucking up a routine. My opinion still stands. By the way, you're NOT more mature than me because you can't even see the reasoning behind my FIRST comment. What a idiot.

  • @PeanutButterGtr wow, anger management? barbie dolls? wow... and i'm not an elite gymnast, i will never be one because of injuries. at least i tried and didn't just sit around and make myself feel better by putting down the girls who actually try.

  • @runningswimqueen Yeah that's all fine and dandy. My point still stands. Yours doesn't because you never had one. I'm done with this argument. I'm tired of the seeing the pic of the little chinese girl in my inbox. You can reply back if you want, you won't get a response. Later.

  • What was that second gymnast's name, Jon?

  • poor he but at the next worlds if she hits shes gonna win and at the olympics too i would love to see her regain her olympic title

  • I thought He Kexin's start value difficulty was 7.7 same as Nastia's in the 2008 olympics. Has gymnastics raised the bar that much that He Kexin's crazy difficulty isn't worth as much anymore??!?!!!

  • Comment removed

  • wtf is with this title? How about you just put her name and the event and not point out to anyone who passes by that she stumbled and not even give credit to her name. She's not "chinese girl" her name is He Kexin. What's this run by a 14 year old?

  • @iluvdrakeandjosh Well the thing is, there are TWO chinese gymnasts who failed in this video, which is why the title says "Chinese Girls (as in more than one girl) fail on uneven bars." It wasn't just He Kexin who failed.

  • @TinyAva93 you obviously missed the point of what I was saying. They have names and feelings.

  • @iluvdrakeandjosh Well you know what, it is a big deal that she fell, because she was the reigning world champ and Oly gold medalist so her falling is big news. You gotta be tough to be an elite athlete in ANY sport. I'm sure that naming the video "Chinese Girls Fail on Uneven Bars" isn't going to crush her any more than the actual fall did. She's probably over it, you should try to get over it, too.

  • damn. universal sports have some shady titles.

  • Honestly, why would the cameras focus on her tears? What the fuck? The girl is obviously WAY DEVASTATED and your going to show her tears to the world? I also have a nitpick with the really disgusting titles this network has. I think one was "Bross face plants on Uneven bars" or something. And I see one right now in the suggestions "Gymnast face plants on dismount". Dude, WTF? They already feel bad, they don't need you to point out their mistakes.

  • Oh, that first little girl is crying. I hate it when they cry, especially the girls from horrible places like China or Eastern Europe. I just want to hug them, take them home and give them real lives to live, not like the awful, impossible lives they have to go home to. I always feel terrible for them when they don't win at least silver.

  • @kayper54 Too bad, so sad. She wasn't crying when she fell off the UB and still managed to make EF in Beijing. You win some, you lose some.

  • @kayper54 how is china horrible? are u out of ur mind?

  • @kayper54 Good thing you're able to sum up China and Eastern Europe as "horrible places." I don't suppose you've ever been to either place. Then you might at least have some proof of your claims.

  • @kayper54 What? How do you know that they are going back to "horrible places". Your rude and racist. Maybe they live in nice homes in a nice town or city. Not all places in China or Eastern Europe are horrible.

  • @kayper54 i hope some day u can visit China to see urself, u'll change ur mind abt China. so many american girls visited China, see their vids. Chinese team r a big family, they r so happy together, always has something to do, parties, spring festival shows, beach trips etc, they r well taking cared and highly respected, they has 1.2 billion fans in China will surprise u 4 sure

Don't believe western media bashing that promote hatry cz Chinese rising power in sport, economic and millitary

  • @energyalt56 Well, it's not a matter of opinion, but of fact. These children are selected as preschoolers to train as athletes until their adulthood and know very little else outside the insulated world of their sport. They are not provided the educational opportunities to have much choice for a productive adult life outside of it. They admit that themselves. Usually they become coaches. With all the wonderful improvements in China's society/economy, remember that it's still a communist country.

  • @kayper54 From a communist to a social capitalisum is a improved process, took 300 years in Germany history.China did in 50 years. Not bad. 4 Adult productive life, they r pioneer in discipline, dedicatn, hard work, focus, Chinese athlete clearly show they r far superior then me, They will do well whatever their future might be. i am educated, but go nowhere, no achivement i have to admit, u see my point

U.S Democractic run by lawers, that created problem system, See Singapore, China, Japan

  • @kayper54 Ditto! I felt so bad for He Kexin, especially since she is capable of being spectacular. I don't want them to cry!!! :(

  • rasist titles

  • @Sprunchy1 its not when that is the RACE of the child in question.

  • @Sprunchy1 how is it racist??? it just says they're chinese, which they are. it's not like it said "chinks fail on uneven bars".

  • @LMA629 it's racist because you know they would never say "American girls FAIL on bars" or something like that. Besides, they didn't FAIL, they just made a mistake. Still got decent scores for what they're worth. IMO it should say "He Kexin and Huang Quishang FALLS on bars".

  • It's so crazy how inconsistent they can be. They ROCKED UB's in Sydney w. the highest team total (until they were DQed) and back-to-back silver & bronze in the EF's. Then in '04 they got one of the lower team totals and didn't medal in the EFs. Then in '08 the highest team and He's gold in EFs. It flip-flops. VERY curious to see what happens in London next year.

  • Huang has really good combinations. Especially the one right after her mount. I think its an endo (in elgrip?) and an ono. But I'd like to see what Huang says about that fall. It seems like an odd mistake.

  • He Kexin looks so pretty now! She acually looks old enough to compete. So sad though. I've never seen her not win at worlds. Huang has really good combinations. Especially the one right after her mount. I think its an endo (in elgrip?) and an ono.

  • She looks so pretty now! She acually looks old old enough to compete. So sad though. At least she still did her 2 jeagers, or is it jaegers.

  • the title of this video is extremely disrespectful....

  • @AviorHyrax The title of the video is extremely true. Get over it.

  • @electriCITYxlove even if it is, it's still rude to tell it to the world so blatantly

  • @cristinamariagirl Not really. If being told you "failed on uneven bars" sparks such a negative emotion that you cannot handle it, you're in the wrong sport. This is gymnastics. It happens.

  • @electriCITYxlove This channel is notorious for that kind of stuff to turn this sport into a humour. Some people might take this title the wrong way though, taking it as "Chinese girls are so horrible at uneven bars!" and not "Chinese girls didn't show their full potential in this final" which it should be taken but it just doesn't sound interesting enough to rake in the views, see "Chinese girl face plants on dismount". Typical American network, looks like it's run by a 14 year-old.

  • Awww falls happen with a lot of pressure no bodies perfect and we are not robots so we do make mistakes. Geez calm down commentators.

  • HAHA 'OH MY GOODNESS!" she said it funny

  • awww poor He i really wanted her to win and now beth tweedle won ewww hate her and that fall from the second chineese girl was really weird

  • must be amaterur nite lol

  • the title of this is so mean! 1. they can't even say He kexin's name? 2. i wouldn't say she FAILED just fell

  • Leave He Kexin alone! sayin ohh she has so many great titles and medals!! BS! do u know how hard it is over in China?? How much pressure they are under! Some coaches get in trouble for this! Chinese gymnastics is not the same as USA gymnastics. its hard for them over there. They get taken away from their parents and only see them ONCE OR TWICE a year. I mean I love our country but gosh some people can just be so biased. So u guys think twice about how He is feeling after a fall!

  • @NastiaFanNumba1 Oh get off your high horse. Chinese gymnasts are beautiful to watch and they deserve props for the dedication they put into their gymnastics. I do not like that the people in charge of the Chinese program have to cheat though...and you know exactly what I mean. As far as the gymnasts having hard lives...they are able to provide better lives for their families through gymnastics and the sacrifice for them is worth it...but buy their administration some ethics please!

  • such a lovely title -_-

  • To me this seems like the downhill for the Chinese, they just didn't seem as good this year..I wonder why?

  • That's such a shame, both of them had tremendous potential.

  • @TwisterFlipp95 So in essence, you're mad that He Kexin lost here, right?

Anyway, if you're going to be so nationalistic, at least be grateful that Youna Dufournet was injured a month after Euros, Kononenko wasn't even here, North Korea wasn't here (and won't be here in 2012, fortunately for you) to wreak havoc in vault, bars, and beam...

  • @ChainChomp2

What on earth are you talking about? That comment had NOTHING to do with my anger at He...

  • @TwisterFlipp95 I COMPLETELY AGREE! she is being a totally bitch! She has gotten SO many HUGE titles! SUCK IT UP HE!

  • @CopGymnast861 "She has a lot to be proud of" = "I'm glad that she lost"

"She has gotten SO many HUGE titles!" = "I'm sooo jealous of her"

"She bitched everyone out of everything" = "I'M the bitch!"

"Stupid 13 year old" = "I'm still crying about what happened 2 years ago"

Typical Americans, spoon-fed biased and cut coverage from NBC and Universal Sports, at least not all of us are like this, kthxbai.

  • @ChainChomp2 " She has gotton SO many HUGE titles!" - i meant that she should be happy/grateful! I mean not that i wouldn't want to win olympic + world gold but im NOT jealous. I am just saying that she has to learn to lose!

  • @ChainChomp2 THANK YOUUU!

  • i do gymnastics i kno this has nothing to do with it but all the younger girls in my gym like 10 11.. or 9 are all snobby one chick put my shoe in the sink???> like wwowooww i dont get it! but she did really good on the uneven barss! though

  • This channel is a disgrace to this country, and a lot of un-knowledged fans don't help us any bit more. They make everything sound much worse than it really is and the biased attitude is really unacceptable. The network focuses on the Americans (well can't blame them, BBC is starting to cut off routines and focus on British gymnasts), and goes to commercial more often. This is one of the main reasons why a number of us try to find coverage from other countries!

  • @ChainChomp2 Are you saying that American commentary is bad? Cause to me there just speaking the truth. They tell it how it really is, even if you don't like it.

  • @volleyballgurly15 "This is the first time someone has done a double twisting double back somersault done like this; he does laid out two twists in the first somersault and the second somersault is piked."

If NBC even bothered to show Aleksander Shatilov's routine in floor finals in Beijing two years earlier, he wouldn't have said this was the first time. It's been named a Kolyvanov in the official CoP. Also, there was NO trace of organization for the YOG either...

    Sorry, try again.

  • @volleyballgurly15 I can agree that not all American commentary is bad, the other NBC HD commentary they had in Athens with Shannon Miller was the most un-biased and friendly, but her partner (Paul Sunderland) pretty much spoiled it (e.g. bringing Carly Patterson and Paul Hamm into every subject and every performance), they need to put her with Bart Conner and John Roethlisberger and I'll be happy.

  • WOW, did you hear Elfi when He fell? She sounded like she was in pain. :/

  • @moondog1997 Whatever country we're from, when we watch the dominant teams and athletes of this quality falter like this it's hard to watch and it's really sad and disappointing. So far, two cruddy uneven bar finals in a row (in 2009 three of the four experienced top bar workers in the world at that time fell in qualifying), and next year I'll be hoping that everybody actually hits like at the 2010 Euros (apart from that spotting deduction). Seitz didn't have a great time here either...

  • I agree with the growth spurts--you can definitely see how much the Chinese girls have grown in the past few years. Growth spurts can totally throw off routines especially bars where your whole center of gravity has shifted--you basically have to "relearn" most of the skills.

  • @flyergymgirl125 Couldn't have said it better. In fact, Semenova doesn't even compete bars anymore after having a growth spurt herself but I also heard of a wrist injury which is why she focuses mostly on floor (new double layout) and beam.

The people whining about their age should just stop, it's all over now!

  • Comment removed

  • I think that Universal Sports does this too catch their subscribers' eye because, let's face it gymnastics isn't the most popular sport in the world and a lot of subscribers, subscribe because of other sports.

  • I know what happened. The chinese girls are going through growth spurts, which tends to happen when you compete at the age of 13.

  • The title is very offensive i feel you didn't see the Chinese news agency putting headlines like "Mattie Larson costs the team the gold" or "Alicia Sacramone costs team Olympic gold"

I am NOT proud to be an American not all Americans are assholes like that

  • @bookiewormie1 No they always pull this crap of "Bross whips out on bars" or "Someone crashed" They are always saying something rude. Nothing to do with race their just rude to everyone.

  • @lisapizza16 that makes more sense but come on they always have to bring the american gymnasts into the subject as well i like bbc better

  • @bookiewormie1 I agree. But they make rude comments to the Americans too. I love BBC. They are some much more positive and fun!

  • @bookiewormie1 Agree this is pretty insulting.

  • @bookiewormie1 I think what the title means is Chinese gymnasts fail to maintain there title. Since He Hexin is the Bars champ from last year, it would only make sense. Plus its what they have to do to make people want to wacth it, the more interesting the title the more views it will get. I'm sure there not trying to be rude, its just what the media dose.

  • @bookiewormie1 the video is based on there team

  • @markedexclusive chill dude i was caught in the moment and i cant just leave i am still a minor hahaha

  • i can't believe she was crying don't get me wrong i know it sucked for her but gymnasts at this level should be use to falls she should have presented herself better it made her look very inmature

  • @mammabutterfly75 maybe she is...
