I have the 3DS. I tried to put down all the cards I didn't work.It only lets me use the ? card.

@emeraldman1994 i think they should make mario pop up and u press the corasponding controls to make him hop over or on a gumba. 50 pts. if u hop over and 100 pts. if u hop on it. and if u get hit u lose 25 pts. :) u would get to choose any mario character such as mario, lauigi, peach, bowser (instead of gumbas it would be a bunch of marios), and ext.

They should definiteley make Pokémon and Yugi Oh! AR Cards. And you can have your six Pkmn/yugis in a battle w/ someone else. God, I feel nerdy.

the cube just looks good and it saves work on trying to create another id marker on the other cards. read up on how AR actually works.

There are no codes on the cards. There is a detection system in the 3ds that looks at the card, and detects what angle it's at. The position and angle of the card affect how the 3d model appears onto it. It's not that complex. You can print cards too, in case you lose them. In fact, you could make lifesize ones, which make it look like there is a gigantic monster or something.

I may be a kid for saying this but a poke-ball AR card that links up to your poke-mon game where you battle someone else's pokemon and you battle with them on your kitchen table, But I doubt they'll be able to do that

They might have microscopic bumps on the entire card that the 3ds creates when both cams are pointed at the AR cards.

i think they would have extra cards like luigi or other type of characters and blue might be character cards and yellow could be like mini games they proubly have it like trading cards games when you buy a pack of cards or something like that

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I think that augmented reality can only be used on a flat surface. Also, the figures themselves are not animated, they can be moved or put into different poses, but they are still statues.

i have a few ideas 4 those ar card

mario: use fireballs to shoot goombas,koopas,bloopers,etc. the koopa kids and bowser could be bosses

link: use bow and arrow/boomerang to kill enemies such as octorocks,keese,etc. ganon/ganondorf could be bosses.

samus: use plasma cannon to shoot metroids and other enemies. mother brain and dark samus could be bosses.

All 5 of those character AR cards are just used for a games where you take pictures of the characters, kind of like the AR game where you take pictures of your Mii.

@emeraldman1994 It was said by the same people who posted the pictures of the cards. The AR channel has 6 games: Target Shooting, Some billiards-like game, Mii Viewer (taking pictures of your Mii), Star viewer (taking pictures of the nintendo characters), and 2 games we don't know about yet.

@emeraldman1994 actually, tips9video is right. not to sound rude or anything, but the AR cards make a 3D model of the printed character appear. the only thing you can do is move them around, change their pose, and take pictures of them. but, you can do 2 at a time! :)

For some reason, now I'm really interested in what Konami could achieve with thiswith the Yu-gi-oh series. I know Sony tried something similar, but it looked unrealistic. The AR games Nintendo has shown have been simple, yet they seem to be more impressive. We'll see.

You know how they started making all pokemon cards E reader compatible well they could make pokemon cards AR compatible
